Only a handful of people in the restaurant.These are the dishes we ordered in descending order of my preference.Diamond Head - this ramen bowl is legit. Soup is rich and creamy. Noodles have a good chew to them. The flavor is great and you get a nice whole soft boiled egg.Broke the Mouth - we ordered a 3 out of 5 which was spicy but not knock me over spicy. It was kind of interesting with a mountain of shredded parmesan in there. Despite it being tasty, I think my preference would be a straight black garlic version (Kuni).POG - pretty sweet and tropicalDa Kine Chicken - the chicken was well fried and marinated. I don't think there was much seasoning on the breading though. Also thought the pairing with the ponzu sauce was a bit odd.Bruddah Brussels - these were brussel sprout halves, coated with panko and parmesan and fried. Hot and tender in the middle. Just wasn't working for our family and it largely went uneaten. Normally when we're getting fried brussel sprouts, they're crispy, greasy, well-seasoned, and gone faster than the Flash.All in all, I'm always ecstatic when I find a good bowl of ramen in the East Bay. They are just so few and far between. Definitely will come back for that and maybe try out some of the other appetizers.“
“Man! Dboys Grab & Go has to be one of the best takeout spots in the bay area. Don't get me wrong, it's just like any other establishment. Sometimes they're out of Salmon, the smoke ribs, other menu items, which can happen so, no biggie. Customer service is some of the best I've dealt with all year. Quality of the food is great too!“
“I always come here since they've opened!! The food is always super fresh and tasty!! Lots of flavor made with lots of love!!:) Today I ordered from doordash & we all know doordash can be a bit goofy when it comes to modifying orders... Not an issue when you have awesome people working at this restaurant:) I called to tell them the issue I was having on the app.. I wanted to add-extra macaroni to my order (who doesn't love the macaroni!! I mean come-on it's the best!) the nice lady who I was speaking on the phone with told me not to worry about it; fixed my order and gave me extra macaroni - no extra charge! It's the little things that make me happy and us customers happy! Now I'm happy and full :D“
“I did catering here and I'm glad that they open early on a Saturday as well as their online system, was smooth convenient to use. Kalua pork was too dry. If I knew, I would have opted for either crispy shrimp or chicken katsu. I wished that they had pork katsu so I would have ordered pork katsu and get a variety of chicken, beef and pork. BBQ chicken was nicely flavored and tender as well as their BBQ short ribs. They tried to be healthy with cabbage on the bottom and broccoli on each corner. I ate the veggies with the abundant meat. Macaroni salad was on point. Spam musubi and lumpias were added and nice starters. Portions are generous.Recommended spot - especially when feeding a village party!“

“Located in the old Chinese Express spot (RIP) -- this place is clean and fast! Generous portions, and they have mini plates if you want less food. I imagine it's great for students living around there. Tried it on a whim, as I was really craving some chicken katsu. The only reason I am giving four stars and not five is because the chicken katsu sauce was lose money.... a total miss. It was watery, and didn't taste at all like the ketchup + worcestershire sauce mixture that katsu sauce is supposed to taste like. It was just weird. No big deal -- I just made my own -- but this is a critical part of a chicken katsu plate! Please fix this, Moku BBQ, so that people can properly enjoy chicken katsu. Otherwise, I was satisfied (as satisfied as I can reasonably expect to be, eating "Hawaiian BBQ" anywhere outside of Hawaii). If you're from Hawaii and want to eat katsu, you can get some passable katsu here -- but be prepared to make your own sauce.“
“This building is attached to the motel, so it might be difficult to see. The parking is off the small side road next to the motel.This is a fun Hawaiian themed restaurant with pretty good food. They fry the spam well and their deserts are really good. The mac salad is simple and very delicious. Definetly worth a try.“
“Solid food! Was here before heading to the Honda dealership. Service was nice and speedy. Ordered a chicken teriyaki combo, that came with two scoops of rice, a heart portion of chicken, some broccoli and macaroni. Ambiance is not much to write about, very humble decor. But the food is a hit!“
“[Delivery] The teriyaki chicken is great, tastes very authentic Hawaiian and not too sweet. Exactly the texture you want for HBBQ. The beef is solid, and not overly fatty. The kahlua pork was good as well, though not as juicy as I'd prefer. In any case, glad to have found this place, and will definitely be ordering the teriyaki chicken again.“

When I came with my family, we were helped right away.There is a variety of food and drink to choose from on the menu: bowls, combo plates, ramen, specialty drinks, etc. I was craving a classic BBQ chicken plate, and boy did it hit the spot. The meal was fresh and warm, and the chicken was cooked to perfection. The grilled veggies, rice, mac salad, and sauce paired well with the chicken. “Poke Parlor is hands down my favorite poke place in Berkeley (visited over 20 times according to my Snackpass rewards)! Don't confuse this place with Poke Bar in Sather Lane as this one is much better. I love the variety of options across the menu. To name a few, you can choose blue tortillas or zucchini noodles as a base alongside other more traditional options like sushi rice, brown rice, or mixed greens. There's also an abundance of veggies that you can add to your bowl without extra costs (cucumber, grape tomato, purple cabbage, etc.) You can order on Snackpass for rewards and convenience. I always look forward to ordering poke bowls on Mondays for their "10% off bowl Mondays" (when you order on Snackpass). I appreciate that the bowls include 2 sides for free with options including masago and crab salad, especially since some poke places charge extra for these sides. Pros: -Great variety of options across the menu-Ingredients taste fresh-Ability to order via Snackpass for rewards & convenience -Proximity to UC Berkeley campus Cons:-Little to no seating. Maybe one table or two outside-Sushi burritos were not my favorite. Highly recommend ordering a Poke bowl instead“

It's a family run restaurant, and honestly the heart and soul behind the counter shows in the hospitality we received. The oldest and youngest daughters are so kind! “Food was good. It satisfied my craving for Garlic Shrimp and Chicken Katsu. Ordering thru the app was easy. However, they didn't have any add-ons icon or buttons on the app for sides if you want extra Mac Salad (or Rice). Am glad they finally added it tho after I mentioned it! ,^.^/ Service ... it's counter service could definitely be worked on. But I'm here for food. The counter service would just make the food that much more enjoyable! 1 visit I had a lady that didn't quite speak English. Hard to understand her too with her mask on. On another visit the app QR code wasn't scanning. Had to write name and number both times to qualify for them reward points!! Ambiance ... limited to a handful of bench/table sets (fast food style); but enuff to plant urself n chow down if spot is available on your visit. ^.^I had my food to-go. The rice is nice and fresh - not dried out like some places that serve rice all day. The chicken katsu is delicious, tender, and crispy. Their sauces are good too.
