“As a regular customer of Babette since their opening I had to respond to GoGo's 1 star review. This review was do obviously written by someone with a grudge, perhaps an employee who just terminated for just cause. Babette is a lovely place. The food is great, vast majority of the staff had been there for years. The owners are kind and care about all aspects of their business and staff. That's been clearly obvious every time I've dined there. Pay no mind to this person who speaks so poorly out of spite. Babette is a great place, worthy of the community's parsonage.“

Baxter’s has a welcoming vibe when you first walk in, and it gets even better after you meet some of the team! My server, Michelle, absolutely made the evening for me! She had some great menu suggestions and top-notch service and was great to chat with! Kenneth also made sure that everything tasted great, and I was enjoying my visit! Hats off to the Chef and her ability to create some unique dishes!

I appreciated the menu, which has a little bit of everything. I instantly got that feeling that I was in for a treat. To kick things off, I went with the Baked Brie En Croute, which was outstanding! My main entree was a tough choice, though. There was a special, Gumbo Pasta, which I had never encountered before and piqued my interest. Let me tell you, this special should be on the menu, and if it is available when you stop in, it's a must!

I was torn about dessert, but I went with the New Orleans Bread Pudding at Michelle's suggestion! I'm sure all the desserts are fantastic, but this one has got to be at the top of the list!

All in all, if you can swing by Baxter’s, don't pass it up! Well worth it!“

“It is such a beautiful little place. It has a cozy atmosphere. The food was fabulous. We had a party of 13. We had a wide range of delicious food. Lamb ..Chicken Filet Mignon.. Mussels .. Prawns... Sausage . with pastas spinach mashed potatoes green peppers it was all just so good. I totally recommend“

“1111 Solano is a new location for this restaurant. Previously near Craneway and before the pandemic in Point Richmond. Same chef, same staff, and same excellent food and service.“

“You have to go at least once. I like the staff and the bar is close to the water with good outdoor seating available. They have bar food but have a good dinner as well. During the warmer months, they had outdoor music on Sunday's, but the owner was talking about getting some full-time entrainment at some point.

Parking: Parking can be tough at times

“So happy to find a delicious and friendly restaurant that doesn’t close in the afternoon in my neighborhood. We have been there several times in the past couple months and I’m still trying new things on the menu. My husband tried the ribs which he said were the best he’s ever had and half the serving went home with him. It was huge! Desserts are exceptional especially the flan. I’m still exploring their vegetarian options but so far my favorite is their version of chili relleno. Come and relax and enjoy the food and friendly atmosphere!“

“Had an absolutely amazing time at tipsea last week. Great neighbourhood bar with lots of cool regulars. And the service was phenomenal, Felix and Monica really took care of us and made us feel special. The drinks were complex and delicious, plus $1 oysters! The California Benedict and Bagel Delux were exquisite, unique flavors and a lovely presentation and the portion sizes were perfect on each plate. “Tender Greens | Berkeley has become a go-to place for occasional food delivery & dining in house in the mid-afternoon. The food is tasty, fresh, & plentiful—consistent—& always tastes good. Chefs develop interesting & tasty seasonal menus. I have explored a number of plates & bowls, especially savor the greens & seasonings that go alongside the entrees. Have enjoyed chicken, salmon, beef, & vegetarian options as well as all the sides. Sandwiches & salads are delish. As is the mint lemonade & watermelon fresca. The place can be hopping or not, & the service is top notch & personable, professional. They do robust to-go orders & have spacious outdoor garden seating. Sure wish I’d discovered it sooner!“

“I came to Barkley to study abroad, and it was a nice shop with a nice atmosphere, the staff were very friendly, and the sandwiches were delicious.

This is a good shop with very friendly clerks. I especially like the pastrami sandwich here. There are also fresh shakes in summer!“

From the moment we walked in, we felt like guests in a welcoming place, after a long day of appointments, we were in search of refuge in the form of chips and salsa, a stiff drink and maybe a plate of nachos before an hour long trek back home to SF. We had the street tacos, rice and beans with chips and salsa. Delicious is an understatement! If you want awesome food, a nice place to eat, indoors or out, OR you prefer street side at a table to people watch, indoors for air conditioning, or there's ALSO - the back courtyard with shade and privacy, plenty of seating, fans for hot days or heat lamps for cold nights... “Lovely dog friendly café. The owner, Warren, is super nice and all of the regular staff are kind, wonderful people (shout-out to Andrew, Hanna, and Hannie!)

Coffee is bomb and the food is excellent as well. My favorites are the Corned beef hash (made in house) and the fried egg sandwich. The scones are very good (love the date and Brie flavor).

Ever since that day, we've been hooked with this place. They understand about vegetarians needs. They have one of the best vegetarian options ive seen for burgers. Our group had the lox bagel, breakfast burrito, and the jumpstart breakfast with pancakes and bacon. Everything was quality and cooked well. The smoothies and espresso drinks were also great!“
