“Easily has become one of our favorite takeout spots in town on the weekends. Definitely was a much needed addition to this town for high quality fast casual Hawaiian BBQ food.
We've been loving the chicken katsu, loco moco, short beef ribs, spam masubi, and mac salad here. Everything has been amazing across our several visits! The prices have been extremely reasonable for the giant portions of food we've received across all of our visits here. Parking is easy and it's in a nice lot in SLO.
The staff is always working their tails off in the kitchen every time we come in and the place is clean/inviting although we usually take the items to go. Glad to see this place in town and doing well from the looks of it!“

“I'm used to Ono Hawaiian at home and this was about on par. The prices seem a tad high but the portions are pretty generous, and it seems like a mom and pop shop. The fried fish was wonderfully crisp and fresh, big chunks of flaky white fish The beef and egg rolls were average but in a good way.“

“Laguna grill is SLOs best kept secret ?? Tried this spot about 3 maybe four years ago? I’ve been hooked ever since. I love a good cheeseburger, and have tried most in the county. Laguna Grill still takes first place every time. The meat is clean, and is seasoned to perfection. The presentation alone is enough to make you come back. Ingredients are fresh and flavorful. Hits the spot every time! Forget Firestone grill, they got nothing on Laguna. Keep up the great food and good service!! ?“

“This place is so amazing!! Great to bring kids to as well. My favorite thing is to do the hike nearby and then end at the chicken shack for lunch. Like hike is amazing and ending at Avila farms for a delicious meal ends the day on a great note. Plus you can stop by and feed all the cute little animals and check out the farm right next door!!

“Perfect morning/after work/after school/weekend.. ok, any time, stop! Snacks, drinks, beer, coffee, random grocery goods, lotto tickets, fresh food items and tons more. It’s conveniently located right off Los Berros and the people are always really friendly!“

“My mom and I had been driving all day and pulled into Hoagies about 2 minutes before closing time. We asked CJ and Taylor if it would be possible to still order some food. They said they were happy to do so! Then we told them they we both have celiac disease and asked if they could give us something gluten free. They both went out of their way to read labels for us and even asked if we would like to have corn tortilla strips on our salads instead of croutons (which are not gluten free). They couldn’t have been nicer! As a plus, the food was delicious. Susan and Megan“
