“Sushi Kokku in Pismo Beach is hands-down our family’s favorite spot. We come here every week! The sushi is always fresh and high quality, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the prices are very reasonable. It’s rare to find a place that makes everyone happy, but Sushi Kokku does just that.“

This young man was so awesome! He was very attentive and friendly and he was overall amazing at his job! He had such a great personality too. Thank Judah for your great customer service. “Hadn't been in here for a couple of years and was pleasantly surprised. I always liked them for their cheap lunch boxs before, but previously was underwhelmed with their dinner. We stopped in for dinner with our daughter. She was excited about the sushi and the seaweed salad, but most importantly really enjoyed the fish tank. I ordered off of the 1/2 price rolls menu since it used to be a decent deal even though the rolls were smaller... well boy was I wrong this time. My first roll was the paradise roll and it was HUGE. It was basically a sushi roll with a sushi salad on the side. The staff was friendly, the food was really good and fresh and the value is great!“

“Goshi is an excellent sushi restaurant. I have been to many and the quality here always impresses me. It is a little more expensive than some other places, but it is worth it. The service is great as well. I love coming here for special occasions.“

“Had lunch at Kumi Ko in SLO and it was a great experience! We ordered several rolls, an entree, salad, and some sashimi—and everything was fresh and flavorful. The rolls were well-made and didn’t skimp on the fish, and the sashimi was clean and nicely cut. The lunch portions were generous, especially for the price. Service was friendly and quick, and the vibe was casual and relaxed—perfect for a midday meal. Definitely a solid lunch spot if you’re in the mood for Japanese food!“

“My grandson and I went here on Valentine's day! We had the deep fried Sushi fish rolls. Chicken teriyaki with rice and tempura veggies. All good! This place is so busy all the time that my grandson and I remarked it would be great if they could get into a bigger place! I also had some red wine that was very good

Vegetarian options: They have a really good Japanese vinegar cucumber salad that my grandson likes. He's always liked it from age 8 and now he is 14. They also have seaweed soup that is good and a lot of tempura veggies and California rolls with veggies and avocado.“

“Food is always amazing and extremely tasty. The waitress is super knowledgeable and extremely helpful, she is always super polite and remembers faces. But that could just be me because we go there a lot lol The food is comforting, the atmosphere is pleasant and calm. I can't say enough good things about this restaurant!“

“I had dinner in Paso a week ago. I noticed when I was looking on line at my bank withdraws they charged me twice. It was 12.60 and showed the next day the same charge. Whice was the same day we went in to tell them. We only ate there the one time. We went in to talk to a manager and he wasn't there. The girl working called him. (The owner)He wasn't very good with his customer service. He wanted us to come back the next day at 4 and he'd look at it. He should have told her to just take care of us. I had printed out my statement to show them. We've been eating there for as long as they've been open. I left irritated, it wasn't a 50.00 charge. It was under 13.00. Long story short I went to my bank and they stopped the second charge. Now I will only use cash if I go in there. The owner should have just taken care of us! Food is always good. Ate in the one in San Luis Obispo and they were good also. Just disappointed how he didn't handle it.“

“This was my first time there and it was good , nice atmosphere and plenty of Choices on the menu . I had the poke bowl even though it was good I felt the tuna was not very fresh almost tasted like it was frozen . Not really what I expect from a restaurant like this . My partner had one of the noodle bowls and that was absolutely delicious enough for two people no doubt . Our table was very wobbly and not very comfortable . They had complimentary lemon water and cucumber water which as absolutely delicious ! I definitely would come back again and try some other items on their menu“
