All the sashimi in the combination are classic types so it's really a good choice, and the sweet shrimp as an add on makes the whole picture of a good sashimi dinner! The rolls and the fried soft shell crab were also very good! Also their water seemed to be filtered and doesn't have the typical tap water taste so it's really nice. A very good dinner indeed!!“

“I lived in SB my whole life up until 4 years ago and have been going to edomasa for near 30 years now. The food is incredible!! Santa Barbara offers many other sushi restaurants but none come close to comparing to edomasa. They are mostly too expensive, not fresh, extremely packed with tourists, etc. Edomasa is the real deal when it comes to a locals spot with even the famous that live there frequenting (they skip the fancy frills for quality too �)... Edomasa will always be my FAVORITE restaurant in SB! �“

“Great ramen with a variety of appetizers. Chicken skewer is mediocre and immediately gets hard after a while, but the baby octopus is very good. The server however, gave us the wrong order twice (wrote down a wrong dish & gave us another table’s order). Would come again though.“

Ramen was tasty and rich, noodles also, robata beef was a great “side” but the biggest surprise was the orange chicken… tasted somehow light and super delicious with amazing smell.

“We ordered the Hibachi Mahi Mahi, Hibachi Calamari with fried rice, and Shrimp Tempura. It was our first time experiencing hibachi, and the food was absolutely delicious. The calamari and mahi mahi were cooked perfectly and full of flavor.
The servers were also extremely friendly and helpful, and the restaurant had a very nice atmosphere. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely recommend this place.“
