So of course I had to stop by here as soon as I saw the store name. I did NOT expect to find the best donuts I've ever had in my life. Period. I walked in and was greeted warmly and decided to just order the Original Sin and their version of classic milk. They were so nice and gave me another donut for free which was the Obrama. Everything was so scrumptious. I loved that the donuts weren't too big. The quality of the donut is so good that it only needs to be a smaller size to have the same effect as something larger. The outer texture and the crispness reminded me of the blueberry m&m donuts that they sell in OC where people line up for hours to buy. The donuts here taste better because the inside texture is a lot lighter and isn't as dense so you don't feel disgustingly full afterwards with regrets. I cannot wait to come back and get some for my family and friends. I wanted to test it out myself first prior to sharing with others. Yum! Also their classic milk was soooooo good and complimented the donuts so perfectly.“
“Food and service was excellent, highly recommend!My sister and I live in SD but were in Santa Monica for the day and stopped here for lunch. I got the cobb salad and my sister got the West Coast wrap and both were excellent. We both also got the Ginger Turmeric Lemonade which we couldn't rave enough about. “I must have died and gone to doughnut heaven. The donut texture is fluffy with a pleasant slight chew, and not oily or too sweet for the most part. Most were priced $4-5 each but I find it worth it for the quality of the ingredients.Our favorites are the misugaru (roasted soybean) because it's mild and nutty and has a chewy filled mochi inside. The black sesame is also intensely nutty with a chewy mochi inside too. My wife loves the sweet potato cream the most because it has fresh sweet potato puree along with milk cream, and it's the Korean/Japanese sweet potato that's delightfully sweet and nutty.Tiramisu had plenty of rich cocoa powder accompanying the tangy cream (probably cream cheese mixed in it?). The bitterness of the cocoa was the best together with the cream.The strawberry milk cream had a small amount of strawberry pieces but the cream was so milky rich yet light at the same time. The blueberry one is the exact same except with a few blueberries so I slightly prefer the strawberry one.Matcha creme brulee had strongly flavored matcha cream but I'm not too much of a fan of the sugar crust top. I might still try the regular creme brulee next time to compare the regular custard.Our least favorite was the apple cinnamon because the icing was too sweet but the presentation was beautiful with the pieces of apple inside.We saw quite a line build up after us at 10am so I'd come early since they open at 9am until they sell out! The parking lot is nice and big so it wasn't any trouble finding parking. The mall also has other interesting stalls like a kimbap and udon one if you need some savory to offset the sweet.“

“I was introduced to Sidecar Doughnuts in 2017. I have been a fan since. My favorite donut from them remains to be the Saigon Cinnamon Crumble. It is more of a cake-like texture and I like almost anything cinnamony. This donut tastes more like coffee cake. Coffee and sugar are my staples for everyday living. So, it is almost impossible for me not to love this donut as it has my basic necessities wrap up in one perfect little package! This time I ordered the Vietnamese ice coffee to go with the donut. It didn't taste like a traditional Vietnamese ice coffee. Instead, it tasted more like an iced latte. So if you are looking for a traditional Vietnamese ice coffee, don't get it from there. Don't get me wrong, it was still good coffee just not what the name said it was. This location is off Wilshire Blvd in Santa Monica about 7 blocks from the beach. I really like their packaging as well. The boxes the donuts come in are modern and simple with bold gold letters of the store's name. This location is small and has seating outside. There is metered parking on the street. Service was just okay. I wish the people working there could have been more friendly. All in all, this premium donut chain that started in Costa Mesa in 2012 is still very popular and is definitely worth trying for the first time, and going back for me!“

Never been much for the celestial donuts but they certainly make for a pretty display. Their breakfast sandwiches are definitely not the star but a good addition. The staff is great, too. I had no trouble finding parking right outfront. The shop has a colorful, pink-focused theme. They had an outstanding selection of donuts on display in their glass cases as well as a nice, large menu board offering up all kinds of snacks, drinks, and sandwiches.The four donuts I sampled on my visit to DK's were fantastic. It was honestly a very hard decision. I had to limit myself to four because when I buy donuts, I have very little self control and know I am going to eat them all the same day. Besides, donuts are always best when they are fresh.The strawberry nutella cronut style donut was amazing. Lots of rich, hazelnut spread flavor mixed with strawberry. The plain glazed donut was top notch. I always try to get a plain glaze and use it as a baseline. A great plain glaze donut is always a treat for me. When you love what you do, the outcome is going to be amazing so I wish this location all the best. Pricing: well worth it when you consider the macros and serving size. I was able to split my $13 açaí into 2 different servings. Ordered the house coffee ($8, 22g of protein) and the dirty chai ($10, 22g protein) and the taste was really good. We had 2 different açaí bowls and took them home to add my own fruit but it comes with 3 toppings. Can't believe the macros on any of these things Not only are they healthy, but they're fairly priced and taste incredible. Will gladly be back to try the donuts and waffles . “I am so glad I finally got to try Alfalfa! If you're looking for a healthy, stress free (there's a parking lot!), pretty in pink, zen-like breakfast, lunch, or dinner - Alfalfa is it. They also have a location in Santa Monica if you're in that part of town. For my bevvy I tried the Vanilla Oat Milk Latte which was wonderful. I also got the Buffalo Goddess Wrap with medium dressing. The only thing I wish I did was add avocado which I was planning on doing but slipped my mind when ordering. This wrap was SO fresh and light but also had lots of flavor. I really enjoyed it. Lastly, I had to get a donut. Got the maple walnut - this was the only thing that tasted a liiiitle off. Maybe because it was gluten free? But when you have it with the coffee it makes it better. Prices are pretty normal for LA. The staff was absolutely lovely. “There’s a barista there, I think her name was Emily, she has brown curly hair, but anyways she was so kind and helpful. I had a very complicated drink order and she somehow was able to not come off irritated at all and even answered all my questions. I will definitely be back. Chubby little me would be so excited to see my dad walk in with that pink box of goodies on a random weekend morning.I bring my kids here and just grab one or two as a treat before a day of running errands but if you’re in town visiting, these are a must. They’re so delicious. No frills, although they do have an expanded and updated menu with fancy donuts. I can walk in and grab a donut at 5pm and it still the softest donut for miles. They use a high quality flour for their donuts and it really makes the difference.Sometimes when I'm not in the area and want a donut I'll stop somewhere else and get some. Winchell's changed their recipe and now their texture is tough, dense, and kind of doughy (like "Famous" Randy's on Manchester) and they also now cut GIANT holes in their doughnuts to do a secret price raise, so they're a no-go. “The gentleman who answered my call last week was outstanding. Because I was on a short layover in LA, I did not have the chance to go in person, as with my previous trips. I, therefore, ordered through Ubereats. I was looking for an item not offered as an option and also had a question about doughnut ingredients. Although, I am certain I gave off a harried vibe, he was so pleasant and accommodating. He offered to assemble my order and said he would start prepping, so the delivery driver could grab and go. My entire order was in perfect condition when I received it. Thank you so much! Thank you also for including the store receipt, so that I know how outrageous the sum of fees I paid for delivery were! YIKES. Hopefully, Sidecar will one day offer local delivery, so that the well-deserved profits can stay in house.“
