“Came with my family for lunch and had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious and brought back so many memories of home. They serve authentic Shanghainese dishes with flavors that taste traditional and carefully prepared. Every dish we ordered was fresh, well-seasoned, and full of flavor. We’ll definitely be coming back whenever we’re craving authentic Shanghainese food.“

“This place reminds me of the old-school Chinese and Taiwanese places you’d find in the San Gabriel Valley in SoCal in the early 2000s. Mandarin speaking, straightforward service and just good Chinese comfort food.
At 11am on a Saturday it was packed with mainlanders, a good sign. What I really love about it is the honest pricing…we ordered a noodle, pan-fried buns and wonton soup for only $41 total. That’s a steal in this crazy economy, especially considering how labor-intensive Chinese dumplings are.
- Shanghai pan fried buns were crispy on outside, fluffy on the inside. Delicious!
- The shepherd’s purse wonton was okay, but slightly over-boiled; the wrappers were gummy.
- Scallion oil noodles were delicious and in a generous serving that two can share
The elderly couple running this place are both really nice and friendly. They’re more comfortable speaking Mandarin but they speak some English as well.“

“Very nice Chinese restaurant with friendly staff and nice atmosphere. All dishes we ordered were good. I wanted specifically shout out for Peking roasted duck and xiao long bao. The roasted duck has perfect balance of crispy fatty skin and lean meat, by eating with the sauce and green onion, it gives a rich and refreshing taste. The xiao long bao is also pretty good, the quality of pork and soup inside the dumpling is fantastic with rich and balanced umami.“
