Had dinner there tonight - the first time we've been there since it was remodeled. I think it was closed for well more than a year. The food was great and the service was outstanding. It is primarily a steakhouse, but has a good selection of seafood and pasta as well. The bar looks really nice, too. I only gave it four stars for atmosphere because the open fireplace (which is a very cool thing in winter) was giving off some smoke. We had New Years dinner there tonight. The food was good and the service was very good. They had a band playing, but unless you were in the bar area, you couldn't hear it. Might be nice to have the music ? playing low volume in the dining room. Will go back again.

Finally a five star restaurant in Pollock Pines. I found a restaurant that understands my particular order of a well done steak. No it wasn’t served to me as beef jerky, it was perfect and sooo delicious.
