“We decided to go to Joanne's Cafe for our late lunch. The building and inside is old school (homey and very comfortable).We were greeted with a friendly, courteous man. We were seated quickly too. There was no wait. He asked for our drink order right away. A few minutes later, Lety our server came for our order. I ordered their club sandwich which was deliciously fresh. It had ham, bacon, turkey, lettuce tomatoes and mayo. Everything was fresh. For a $1 more you can order fried zucchini.Honey had their steak sandwich. It was to your order. It was fresh and a great sandwich.Staff kept on filling your drinks while you wait for your order. Even when the order came, the staff kept on coming back to fill your drinks. Staff is polite, courteous, very funny and friendly. We plan to try the breakfasts very soon.I would recommend this place.“
“Places like Georgia's original bun and burger are a dying breed. First things first when coming here, come hungry. I've never left this establishment not feeling like I needed to loosen a button or two. Everything at this spot is also homemade and delicious. I've yet to try anything that is subpar. My personal recommendations are the burgers, on my last stop I had the pastrami burger with which I added cheese and grilled onions. Also a word of warning as well this joint has a large group of regular patrons so also come patient as there is limited space that may require you to wait. Wholeheartedly recommend this old fashion diner that I fervently hope continues to provide us Covina locals with delicious comfort food to imbibe in for decades to come.“
“Had lunch at the Denny's on Grand Avenue in W. Covina yesterday. The Banana Caramel Pancskes were incredible, the eggs were to my liking, and the hash browns might just have been the best I've ever had. The waitress was courteous and very accommodating. Denny's probably won't ever win the Architectural Digest award for exceptional interior design, but this franchise pairs great food with great service. Couldn't ask for more!Vegetarian options: You can ask them to hold the meat on almost any dish. Maybe not on fried chicken, but otherwise . . .Parking: Plenty of places to park.Kid-friendliness: They love kids.“

“The beacon has split in half and has shrank in size, or they gave me a baby pork beacon. Either way, to serve a beacon this small and thin is an insult to the customer. The server could care less after I mentioned the beacon to him, but he did offer to bring me more for an extra charge. It feels like a lot of the restaurants are Nickle and diming their cliental by either reducing food portions, serving mediocre sizes, or adding surcharges to the bill. I think restaurants use the economy as an excuse for this kind of action.“
“Great ambiance the decor is very clean and every staff member was there to help. Our food came at a timely manner since we were there in town to see our great niece compete in gymnastics regionals at Ontario Convention Center. Our waitress took our order and within 15 minutes our food was in front of us, the temperature of our food was great everything was perfect and our waitress was there refilling our glasses with water and mugs with coffee. If we are in town again we will definitely be stopping here again“
“Cute restaurant. Ordered breakfast burritos, and they are substantial but ordinary. The service was generic, with workers only interested in each others conversation. The decor is quite interesting with lots to look at and teach/talk about to a younger generation.“

Within sitting down our drinks we’re take and food was out within 15 minutes on Saturday morning 11am.It is also more affordable than KBJ from what I remember so that’s a plus as well ! “The staff is always great! They have excellent burgers and fries. I don’t recommend the chicken strips, but that’s a personal opinion since I see other people eat them all the time. Great ranch! I find it easier to walk in and order than go through the drive thru, but they always get my order right, and are always friendly. The place is always clean, and usually busy. They get you in and out quickly. :)Parking: If they don’t have space for parking in between their restaurant and the pizzeria, then you can park behind the building, but it’s open, and only about 10 spots are not visible from their “main parking” area. It’s where I usually park when I come from Citrus.Wheelchair accessibility: Definitely wheelchair accessible, and the door is easy to open. I use a cane or a walker, and I’m able to get in and out without a problem.“
“I had breakfast there today and the level of service provided by my waiter, Kano, was exceptional. I watched him service 10 to 12 tables in two differed languages, and provide excellent service. I was in and out in an hour and completely satisfied with the food, service, and atmosphere. Overall a great experiance.“
“Been there long ago and some of the people working there were aweful. But now they have new personal and a nice menu. The food is good and it's nice inside. Going to eat there is going to be a good experience where you know one can rely good food and service. Liked the place. Parking is a little limited though.“
“This Denny's was a great branch, as I was traveling from Los Angeles to Las Vegas and was tired and a little sick. First, I only stopped by for a short coffee, but the atmosphere and the friendly lady serving at the establishment were so welcoming that I ate fried mozzarella and handed it to my mullah. Their music, coffee and fried mozzarella were very nice, everywhere was clean and I was not tired anymore. Thank you.“
