“Tried it for the first time last week, had the spicy beef noodle soup with knife-cut noodles and the soup dumplings. My friend had the spinach ramen noodles in miso broth. I would say overall the food is pretty good. The spicy beef noodle soup was not very spicy and the noodles seemed a bit dry. But I took home my leftovers, added some red pepper and by that time the noodles had soaked in more of the broth and were plumper and chewier, so it was good. The soup dumplings were good though you have to ask for all the condiments (vinegar, ginger, chili oil) as they only had soy sauce out on the counter. I will be back to try their other items. Since it is hard to find these more regional types of Chinese food here in Ventura County, I would say it's a good place among what's offered here. Not as good as those in San Gabriel Valley or even South Bay areas of L.A., but for Ventura County, this would be one of my go-to places for soup dumplings and handmade noodles.“

“Decided to try something new and very happy we found this place! Very clean and nice area for people to enjoy and hangout. We got the California poppy and dawn patrol, both very good smoothies and super tasty. 10-11 dollars for a smoothie is pretty steep but with all the ingredients in them and from a business perspective the price makes sense. Will definitely come again, the staff was also very nice and knowledgeable about the products they are selling. Two thumbs up“

Wow!The buttermilk and apple fritter were the best I've ever had.Fritter was perfectly crisp on the outside yet moist and full of apple and cinnamon flavors on the inside. “Andrew was superb in assisting us with our bowl. Not only was he patient, he was very attentive to any questions we had. This location is clean, simple but inviting. We ordered a large Acai base 3/4 filled and topped to our hearts desire. While I don't usually opt for chocolate, my brother wanted to try it so we ended up with a surprisingly good mix of fruits and sweets. Definitely won him over as he wants to return again lol! They have a number of bases to choose from and while it's so hard to pick, Acai is my go to. Can't wait to return and try different types of variety.“

“Juicewell is located only a small stroll from the beach on Seaward. Parking is very limited so I would suggest going on the week days instead of the weekends as you could have issues with finding parking. Ambiance is very beachy. Inside is extremely clean!The service was good. The lady in front was nice. The açaí bowl did not disappoint. As mentioned in previous reviews, it is the BEST açaí bowl in Ventura! I got a 12oz Açaí bowl comes with granola. For my 3 toppings, I got strawberries, banana, & almond butter. They are very generous with the almond butter! It was a thick layer between the açaí & granola. The almond butter alone is worth the price!Usually I have issues with the açaí melting before I could finish the bowl but I didn't this time. The portion is perfect. Definitely my new spot for açaí bowls in Ventura.Also, it is dog friendly which is a must when living in Ventura. The price did go up since previously posts of the menu so I made sure to add a photo of the current menu!“

“My daughter gave me a coupon, 2 for 1 smoothies @ someplace called "Robeks", sounded like a good deal so, off we went. Nestled in the Esplanade shopping area next to Blaze pizza. A Jovial staff greeted us & we ordered our smoothies. The girls loved being able to see them prepare drinks & called out names of fruits they seen . The Taste test: 8/10 The flavors were bold & I liked that they have chunks of fruit, makes for more than a milkshake consistency. I definitely recommend this place!“

“Best "ice cream" I could ever dream of. We usually order pistachio with coconut, that combo is to die for. I love how the texture is icy and gritty at the same time, we can actually taste the real pistachios and coconuts used. Among other flavors, our other pics are strawberry, Mamey, or mango. Service is quick and easy, you just walk in and they ask you what you'd like. They have a pretty large menu so you could even get banana splits, mangoneadas, tejuinos, and even chips with salsa. The large option is actually a proper lunch meal. The watermelon in the salad isn't always the sweetest/freshest, BUT it's due to seasonal issues, and not the shop itself, so when watermelon is out of season, I'd just exclude it from the salad. Another thing that I like from this store is mangoneada, always good!“
