The sauce? Sent from heaven. Probably bottled by angels. I got the spicy mayo and now I understand inner peace.

The staff? So nice I wanted to tip them my car. Super patient, even though I stood there like a confused toddler trying to build the perfect bowl. Zero judgment. Just good vibes and helpful suggestions.

Place is clean, and the portions? Let’s just say I waddled out happy.

You can tell they actually care about what they’re serving. The rice is fluffy, the beans are seasoned just right, and the meat? Juicy and flavorful like they grilled it up just for me. Every bite had me nodding like I just heard a good song 😂🎶

The portions are huge, too. I ordered a plate, thinking I might still be hungry after… nope. That plate fed me and my regrets from the week. They don’t skimp here. And the prices? “I have known about Nancy‘s for quite some time because it is one of the famous diners that are dotted along former Route 66. There are many in the area and I would say that Nancy May’s is one of the better ones. We stopped in for our first time this past weekend and had a really nice experience. It was our server’s first day on the job and she was extremely sweet and did a great job and so did the kitchen. Everything that we ordered came out very fast and just as we requested. It’s in a small shopping center so there is plenty of free parking right in front. They don’t have any outdoor seating and inside is pretty small but in a cozy way.

For our first visit, we wanted to start with some of their bakery items so we chose the Cinnamon Roll and the Coffee Cake. They were pretty good, but you could tell they were not homemade and were very cakey. The store bought pastries never seem to be as good as homemade to me. This was not my favorite part of the meal. For my breakfast, I chose the Country Fried Steak and thought it was fantastic. It was not overly cooked and the eggs were done perfectly, I was a big fan of the dish overall. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone searching for a great diner or to anyone looking for a casual breakfast or lunch option.“

“We came to the shopping center to try a Soup and Salad joint but apparently it’s a fad right now with a ridiculous wait so we pivoted and took a look to see what else was in the parking lot. We decided on Cara Mia. All I can say is “wow!” The food here is fantastic. Warm ambiance. Friendly staff. Delicious food. The Fried Calamari is fried just right, a generous appetizer portion lightly breaded that doesn’t skimp on the actual calamari. We had angel hair pasta and the meat lasagna and both were fantastic! And the prices are incredibly reasonable, especially considering the size of the portions. We have a new Italian place on our list.“

“After a very long convention day, we were craving comfort food. We got here around 7pm on a Friday night. Plenty of tables, and we were seated immediately. My sister ordered a regular sized Brisket Pho -$13.95 - the bowl was VERY small. The soup was a tad sweeter than what were use to but the meat was very tender. I had their Grilled Chicken Vermicelli bowl that came with egg rolls -$13.50- generous portion, the scallion oil on top of the chicken was delicious! The marinade on the chicken was very well done, flavor of the filling for the egg roll was addictive. Interior is spacious and clean, service was friendly and not rushed. Great value and great flavor! Totally recommend when in the area.
