“Our new go-to for Italian! Prompt seating with our reservation (5pm) and service. One of the better margaritas my wife has had and my Manhattan was solid. Warm, soft, sliced bread with an olive paste—ate more than I should! Split a generously portioned Caesar: very fresh, shaved parm, and lots of anchovies on the side made it filling. A very tasty, cheesy lasagna was a treat for my wife, and my Tuscan risotto could not have been better—hot, cooked tender, sliced Italian sausage, chicken, artichoke hearts and kalamata olives. Enough to take home for lunch the next day! Mario was very attentive and personable, and fun to hear about his expertise in local architecture. We’ll be back!“

“Went for my mom’s Birthday on the 8th. Super nice staff, I reserved a seat for inside but they tried to move us outside on the patio. I would’ve, if it weren’t so hot. They let us sit inside the bar which was nice. The manager (I assume) was super nice and the hostess was very welcoming.

Also whoever the bartender who was working on the 8th at 7ish is a super cool dude. Food was out very fast and delicious.“

“We made a poor choice of entrees. Opting for the filet mignon. They were prepared well but the quality of the meat was very poor. Grainy and fibrous it was extremely chewy. We've been here many times and always enjoy the experience. This however is not the eatery to order steak. We will return.“

“We couldn’t have been happier with our experience at Mamma Gina’s! We managed to book a table for a group of 13 just 45 minutes before arriving on a Monday night, and they handled it flawlessly—seating us comfortably in their private banquet room.
From the start, the staff impressed us with their warm welcome and attentive service. Our waters were constantly topped off, and we were served two kinds of warm bread accompanied by a delicious olive tapenade. The waiter kindly explained, “We can change the pasta type or sauce on your meal, so don’t hesitate to ask,” which really highlighted their flexibility and hospitality.
The food was outstanding. Starters included Caesar and mixed salads (each large enough to share), a beet salad packed with fresh beets, flavorful bruschetta, and minestrone soup. Several of us took the waiter’s recommendation and ordered the special lasagna—layered with a subtle, savory meat sauce and a heavenly béchamel white sauce accompanied by sautéed spinach. Others enjoyed the rigatoni with sausage and peppers, linguine puttanesca, and pomodoro—all cooked to perfection. The portions were generous, ensuring delicious leftovers the next day.
Mamma Gina’s also offers a well-curated wine list and a full bar. I highly recommend this restaurant for its outstanding service, top-quality food, generous portions, and inviting atmosphere. Several people in our group were still raving about the meal days later and telling others to give it a try—you’ll have a delightful dining experience!“

“For the past 6 years I have been a frequent visitor of Romano's Pizza take-out. The previous owners were fair, honest and really cared about their clientele. At some point I guess they sold the business. The only way I was aware of this exchange of ownership was in the cost of my pie. My large pepperoni with extra cheese was now $15.00 dollars. There is a $2.50 charge for the extra cheese. This new price raise for the pizza in my opinion, is a big mistake because compared to Domino's, Pizza Hut, Papa John's and Little Caesars they are going to lose customer base because nothing differentiates their pizza from the competition. The cheese, sauce and crust are standard. For me in the past it was about price and convenience that made Romano’s a standout. They have raised their prices above what would be considered normal to account for inflation, cost of ingredients, and sales help. Perhaps they are trying to pay off the loan for the restaurant in a record 12 months (LOL). I believe that once you lose that base, you have lost it for good. What a shame. Patience seems to be the secret ingredient to a successful business. (They) may want to rethink their strategy only time will tell.“

“Anyone can cook pasta, but if you want to make an authentic Italian meal you’re gonna have to shop here. I’ve been cooking authentic pasta amatriciana for years now and this Real Italian Deli has guanciale which is very uncommon. Yall, they have guanciale! Cant get more “Real Italian” than that unless you’re in Italy.
Aside from the surprisingly authentic and high quality products, the staff was genuinely friendly and welcoming.

“The food was excellent! I rarely can find squash blossoms and when I saw them on the menu I knew I had to order. These are often seasonal and very hard to find. They were incredible. Piping hot, crispy on the outside and creamy in the middle. They are served with Marinara. I prefer honey drizzle or agave so I added my own. My mouth was singing their praises. “Born and raised in Chicago, we had Rosati’s at family gatherings on the regular. I left in 2001, and definitely miss the pub style pizza I grew up with.

We rented a house in Indio for a long weekend, and when I saw there was a Rosati’s 15 minutes away I almost lost my mind!

We got a pizza Friday and beef sandwiches Saturday and I was SO HAPPY!
