“Went for my mom’s Birthday on the 8th. Super nice staff, I reserved a seat for inside but they tried to move us outside on the patio. I would’ve, if it weren’t so hot. They let us sit inside the bar which was nice. The manager (I assume) was super nice and the hostess was very welcoming.

Also whoever the bartender who was working on the 8th at 7ish is a super cool dude. Food was out very fast and delicious.“

“I visited this restaurant with my wife for a quiet dinner, and we were pleasantly surprised. The place had a calm and relaxing vibe, with soft lighting and clean decor. The menu had a lot of variety without being overwhelming. I went with the beef stew, and my wife ordered a vegetarian risotto — both dishes were flavorful and nicely presented. The service was friendly and attentive without hovering. We took our time, never felt rushed, and even stayed for dessert. The chocolate mousse was a perfect way to end the meal. “We went to Birba on an exceptionally hot night and sat at the bar. We stayed cool by the misters and had a wonderful evening. The Bartender Lugo was insightful, friendly, efficient and professional. Our food (melon/prosciutto salad and specialty pizza) was amazing and service was well timed. Although not hungry enough for dessert, the menu looked fantastic. I commend Birba for a lovely evening in a lovely al fresco setting. It was also wonderful to be slightly out of town - a little more peaceful than some of the down town settings.“

“For the past 6 years I have been a frequent visitor of Romano's Pizza take-out. The previous owners were fair, honest and really cared about their clientele. At some point I guess they sold the business. The only way I was aware of this exchange of ownership was in the cost of my pie. My large pepperoni with extra cheese was now $15.00 dollars. There is a $2.50 charge for the extra cheese. This new price raise for the pizza in my opinion, is a big mistake because compared to Domino's, Pizza Hut, Papa John's and Little Caesars they are going to lose customer base because nothing differentiates their pizza from the competition. The cheese, sauce and crust are standard. For me in the past it was about price and convenience that made Romano’s a standout. They have raised their prices above what would be considered normal to account for inflation, cost of ingredients, and sales help. Perhaps they are trying to pay off the loan for the restaurant in a record 12 months (LOL). I believe that once you lose that base, you have lost it for good. What a shame. Patience seems to be the secret ingredient to a successful business. (They) may want to rethink their strategy only time will tell.“

“Amazing cafe in the heart of the desert. I have traveled all over the country and Europe for work & I can stay in the desert & America, this is a pure gem! You can’t even find this feeling in nyc Everyone is friendly and nice. An amazing place to come to people watch with an Italian spritz or glass of wine fantastic selection if you know your wine as well as a morning cup of coffee which is pure crack as all of us locals say great panini‘s and sandwiches with a home cooked feel when you need some happiness in your stomach. I need to detox before going get back on a sottovoce fix . Mindy & The owner Natalie are very kind & are always accommodating & welcoming if you can’t make it to Palm Desert stop to visit them in Palm Springs which I hear is fabulous!

“The food was excellent! I rarely can find squash blossoms and when I saw them on the menu I knew I had to order. These are often seasonal and very hard to find. They were incredible. Piping hot, crispy on the outside and creamy in the middle. They are served with Marinara. I prefer honey drizzle or agave so I added my own. My mouth was singing their praises. I’m looking forward to trying so many tasty bites I saw on the menu. Two thumbs up for me.“

“Went here for the first time yesterday. Ordered the pizza and wings. The best pizza I had ever had. Truly delicious! The pizza came out pipping hot and fresh as well as the wings. The sauce is authentic using quality ingredients. The lady working the front at the register was super sweet and went through many of the item menus. I met Dominic and another gentleman that worked there. Outstanding customer service often checking how my other half and I were doing and if we needed anything else.
