“My boyfriend and I tried this restaurant on a whim and we were so impressed. We started with the spinach artichoke dip (11/10-we agreed it was the best we have tried) and for our entrees we shared the Creamy Arrabiata Pasta (10/10), Lasagna (9/10) and Caesar salad (10/10-kudos for the authentic dressing). We finished off with crème brûlée (11/10) for dessert. The service was amazing, everyone was very attentive and kind. The ambience was cool, calm and collected. There was beautiful live music outside that we could hear from inside but the tunes inside were great too! (tame impala, modest mouse, fitz and the tantrums etc) Luckily it wasn't too busy when we stopped by. We will most definitely be coming back :)“

The freshly piped cannolis and homemade pappardelle (with Bolognese ragu with grass fed Niman Ranch ground beef and organic ground pork) the best texture and flavors...on par, if not better, than establishments I tried in New York City. I never liked cannolis (too hard, too thick, too sweet) but the light crisp shell and perfectly balanced sweetness of the filling of THIS cannoli blew my mind. I get the pasta fajole soup and it always makes me better when I'm sick and or when I'm in any type of pain. It's my miracle soup. Now that I am keto they make it for me without the pasta so I can still enjoy my favorite stuff. My daughter loves the Alfredo pizza and everything is homemade and so fresh! “What a wonderful evening at Piccolino. We were greeted by Aiden and McKenna and taken to a wonderful booth. Shelby was our amazing server. We also chatted with Sal, Jeff, and Devore. All wonderful people. We started with Patron Silver with three limes muddled and mint mixed with Pelligrino and the eggplant souffle. The drinks and appetizer were fantastic. We also had the bruscheta, which was quite tasty. Shelby stopped back by, and we ordered the main entrees. My wife ordered the Dover sole special, and I had the pasta wrapped lobster and crab. Juan Carlos delivered our entrees and de-boned the Dover sole tableside. The entrees were prepared and presented exquisitely and tasted amazing. We finished the evening with coffee and spumoni. Jeff stopped back by, and we had a wonderful conversation and appreciated his hospitality and kindness. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend this fine establishment.“

“Met a friend for happy hour at the bar. The female bartender was very friendly and acknowledged my presence immediately. Since the restaurant wasn't busy, my drink was made quickly. The happy hour menu has a nice selection of food choices to choose from and I ordered the cheese pizza which was excellent. Just the right amount of sauce and cheese on top of a delicious thin crust. As for the ambiance, it's a fairly typical bar with at least 8 seats at the bar and enough tables to seat multiple parties. If you're looking for good food, a cold drink and a local place to meet a friend, give Antonucci's a try.“

“Wow! This little gem in Lake Forest. We were running errands and it was cold and cloud day so we pulled into this cozy Italian restaurant! We were greeted by Zachary. He was incredible! He has THE BEST customer service. I knew I was going to leave a 5 star review before we even ordered. My husband wanted a Bloody Mary but can't handled spicy ones. Zachary offered to bring a sample of the base and the bartender even came over to chat about it. Btw if you like a little spice in your bloody, order it! It had the best flavor and was handmade. The food was amazing, the restaurant was clean and charming and Zachary was just so good at his job! We stayed way longer than we normally would because it was so comfortable and a place where you just want to take your time. I got the dinner salad for $4.98 & boosted it to "family size" for an additional $4.95, according to the app. I ended up getting 2 enormous salads and was charged double instead of 1 salad for a little over $9. Obviously, it's still a great deal, but that's WAY too much salad for 2 people. "Keep it for a couple days and eat it over time," right? Unfortunately, one of us is leaving tomorrow to go out of town. It was just a waste of food. I'm going to do my best to eat it, though. Just a warning to those contemplating the size for the price- honestly? I'm not sure what the size is for a normal dinner salad for the $4.98. But I think it's PLENTY for 1 person, if not two.“

We ordered our go to Penne Bella Roma with extra sauce, so creamy, artichoke hearts, sun dried tomatoes and chicken. Been going there for years quality unchanged. Wanted the antipasto salad, but weren’t sure if we’d have room. Food was served PDQ with crusty garlic bread and excellent service. Sandwiches and pizza is great too. “Found myself here for lunch on a weekday at noon. This pizza parlor serves pizza by the slice if you don't want a whole one. There were probably ten choices for a slice and I chose two: Hawaiian and Pepperoni & Sausage. I also got a fountain drink and was given a lunch deal price. I sipped on a cherry Coke while they heated my slices and delivered them to the table I sat at. The slices were enormous! The Hawaiian had wall-to-wall pineapple and plenty of ham while the Pepperoni & Sausage had meat-o-plenty. The thin crust was a bit droopy while hot but firmed up a bit as it cooled. The cheese had excellent stretch to it. Great pizza, great price, great service...what more can you ask for?“

This last New Year’s Eve I called the number that I thought was Romero‘s cuisine and made a reservation for 6 PM for four hours. When we got there, they said they didn’t have a reservation, but would accommodate us anyway even though they were booked up for the evening. We had a delicious meal and Service was excellent.
