Adam started off with giving us great recommendations, asked about our preferences, and even asked about how our day was going. This kind of attitude deserves attention. “Ellie's Table is a great little spot if you want a nice little brunch/lunch/snack/pastry or coffee with a quaint cafe vibe. We love Ellie's whenever we come to the OC. We used to go to the San Clemente location before it closed. This was our first time at this location. Food: 5/5 We ordered a variety of things here and each item was wonderful. I ordered the brunch burger. It was cooked to perfection and practically melted in my mouth with each bite. We also got some pastries and the lucky charms cappuccino. Everything we got was wonderful. Atmosphere: 5/5 This place has a very nice little cafe vibe. There is some seating indoors, a cool little private area upstairs and some nice seating outside lining the building. It's a nice place to hangout and visit with friends or loved ones while enjoying some food and coffee in a relaxed environment. Customer Service: 4/5 One of the employees seemed a little irritated that she was there while she rang us up. But, overall the service was ok. She was young, so I doubt that it is like this with all the employees all the time. Price: 5/5 The prices here are great for what you get. I got a massive burger with a sunny side egg for only $14. The nice palm sandwiches are only $3.50! They have items for if you want a full meal or just a little snack. They are all priced very well in my opinion. Parking: 3/5 There is a tiny parking lot behind the building. If you can't park there, you are looking for street parking or parking in another lot in the Downtown San Juan Capistrano area. This place is such a nice little OC gem. I highly recommend if you are on a trip or even a local!“

“Came here for a quick coffee and enjoyed the experience. Tim is the owner and was at the counter taking our order and making our coffee. He was very friendly and made a great cup of coffee and chai tea latte. He was just about to close but had no issue making us coffee. We sat outside on the bench, there is also seating inside. Next time will try some of his breakfast items.“

“Susie, the owner, is truly amazing!!! Their services are very good and their food portions are very filling. They also have halal chicken and beef which is amazing about their store and they taste really good, along with their desserts. Their smoothies are also a must try. “Ramos House Cafe was our first stop in San Juan Capistrano, on a Tuesday in April. It was a beautiful spring day and the al fresco seating of the cafe was perfect. We were greeted by amazing service. We ordered the apple beignets, crab hash with a side of fresh biscuits, and americano. Everything was delicious. Freshly made is an understatement. “Sun-dried tomatoes has an amazing catering service that is reasonably priced for the high-quality food that they serve. I have used their services 3 occasions. recently, I picked up several items to serve on Easter Sunday for 20 people that we're gonna be at my house. The favorites were the chopped salad, the traditional, deviled eggs, the espresso brownies, and the other fancier salad that had berries in it. Everything was great, and the woman who helped me decide what to get, was incredibly pleasant and professional as she gave me great advice about what to order. The braised beef is the only thing that I might not get again becauseit might not have been enough all by itself to serve 20 people. We had also gotten sliced turkey breast from honeybaked ham, so it was a nice mixture. Try them out.“

Food I ordered: French Omelet Drink of choice: Matcha Latte (iced) w/lavendar syrup The omelet tasted very good because the eggs were soft/spongy and the cheese of choice was perfect. The matcha latte was excellent - they have other syrup options you can choose from (the sign is by the cash register tablet). The side salad was good too! This place was hard to find but the spot was located on Richard Reese Way (street name), next to SuperCuts. I will be back - glad I found this place!“

I have only been here twice, but it's now a situation where we need to stop by when we come this way. I remember enjoying my drink on my last visit, I believe I probably ordered a lavender latte. This time I tried the matcha latte, blue hummingbird style with spirulina. I have come to the conclusion that I am not really a fan of matcha with added vanilla or syrup. I like it straight and bitter. So, that was a bit sweet but the drink was cute. Service is A-OK. It was slow this last time. However, the location makes this place a gem. Check out the business photos. I could seriously relax here all the time if I was nearby.“

As for drinks I ordered a matcha latte with almond milk and vanilla sweetener and it was so good! They also sell coffee beans from various countries which is really cool! “My last review was so many years ago! We continue to love Lolas, we go almost every Sunday. They have so many vegan and vegetarian options. I love that they got rid of the plates and are back to serving food on the wood boards. My old favorite mixed berry flatbread wasn't as great a month or so ago, maybe because it wasn't berry seasons, but the Sunrise Flatbread is my new obsession. It is so good, just wish I could order it ahead on the clover app - there is some glitch that makes it requires to add 5 items on the flatbread in order to add it to your cart.“

I have to admit, as Southern Californians, we are very spoiled with the best of world cuisine, and we have no shortage of good Middle Eastern food in our neighborhood. “Found this gem of a restaurant today. Meant to go to the Mexican place next door but they were not open. It's like you're stepping back into time, including the prices! Nostalgic, old school American Fare. The pancakes looked really good but we were there for lunch. Fast and efficient service. One star off because they do charge 4% for credit cards. This should just be built into the price of the food. Also they charge $1 for ranch which I was not told about. Otherwise it is a great find!“

Their English muffin egg cheese sandwich is an absolute delight – made from scratch, it's a must-try. “Love this place! Food is always great. Made fresh. Staff are always nice and give great service. My favorite thing to get here is the TUNA MELT! I am not a fan of tuna at all until I had theirs. There are times where they will run out because they make a certain amount of tuna salad for the day. Not complaining about that, I just know that it was made fresh that day, so I definitely love it! So order ahead by calling in. If you're not a fan of it at all, give any of their sandwiches a try and ask them to add that chipotle sauce, changes everything, you will thank you me later. If you are in the Irvine area, give them a try!Kid-friendliness: They have baby seat chairs for dine-in and kid friendly items as well.Parking: Since this is a small cafe surrounded by business establishments it will be difficult to park but it is fortunate that you do not have to pay for any parking. “First time ordering from this restaurant, we had hot roast beef and chicken soup. The sandwich was good the beef has really good flavor and tender but the bread became soggy. The soup was a little salty for me and seems too little serving for $7.00 ( I guess nowadays everything are so expensive). It was ready on time when we picked it up. “Alton Cafe is def a hole in the wall place if you want quick, yummy food during lunch. Alton Cafe is my go-to spot for lunch since it's around the corner from where I work. They have all sort of entrees from breakfast, sandwiches, salads, and poke bowls. My usual order would be a turkey, swiss sandwich on a croissant which is to die for, but my review today will be for their poke bowls. For their poke bowls, you're able to choose between 3 or 5 scoops which is either $10 or $11 which is such a steal. From there, you can customize your bowl to you liking by choosing your base, sides, protein, sauces and toppings. My poke bowl tasted super fresh, the quality of fish was super good. The portions are huge as well so a 5 scoop def made me full. Overall, don't sleep on Alton Cafe. It has the best lunches!“

“Located at Nordstrom's 2nd floor. I have been coming here for many many years. One of my favorite places to eat and hang out at. While everyone is shopping, you can find me here. Lol.You go in, order your food at the counter, then they give you a number, then you find a cozy spot in this huge dining room. The servers bring you the order. Fountain beverages available, alcoholic & non-alcoholic options as well. Tons of dessert options & whatever entree floats your boat. In my most recent visit, we got the cheddar & chive biscuit, the tomato basil soup (my favorite), the artichoke spinach dip (huge portion, not enough pita, so ask for more), cilantro lime salad is a winner. For sandwiches, the Santa Fe chicken panini is great. Don't forget the creme brulee & the carrot cake for dessert! Prices are reasonable. The servers will come around with mint chocolate sticks on their tip trays... if you choose to leave gratuity. Other than that, I love coming here.“
