“My husband and I loved the Philly cheesesteaks! We met the owner, Sergio, and his wife. They are the sweetest couple! The food was delicious and the friendly interactions were great. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a filling meal and a reasonable price! We got two Philly cheesesteaks, one with fries and the other with potato salad, and a large fountain drink to share. Total was $33. They had just enough jalapeños to give that spice, but not too many that it was distracting from the other ingredients. Come check them out!“

“we waited at least 30 mins after we sat down and they didn't even take our order. totally disorganized. we love Indian food and thought we would give this a go having tried Addis many times which is fantastic. 2 other groups of people walked out before we did who were also unable to place their orders. never again. 0/10.“

“I recently purchased food from here while attending a conference in the city of Los angeles. It was truly fall off the bone deliciously seasoned chicken. The chicken was tender and juicy. It was a little difficult to separate out some of the smaller Bones from the half chicken but I got through it and enjoyed that I could rend the flesh with my hands because I did not have a knife and fork (I do not mind this it made me feel cool to eat it manually). The bread was spectacular and was baked to a degree of fluffiness that I have not experienced in another bread. I got it with hummus and pickled turnips which were pretty delectable, very toothesome and vibrantly colored. The sauces I chose were the tahini and the red sauce which were both nice accents on the food. I also got a delicious mint lemonade which was the perfect amount of sweet and tart with a nice cool mint flavor.

It is so difficult nowadays to find truly authentic Middle Eastern food, oftentimes it is just a poor imitation co-opted and misappropriated by people from northern Europe who think they have a claim to the land. That's why I am so glad you have gotten food from Jerusalem Chicken where I could tell it was cooked by people truly native to the land.“

“Utsav Indian Cuisine is hands down the best Indian food restaurant in the South Bay. Just real authentic food without all the pretense of some of the beach city places that supposedly sell "Indian" food. The lunch buffet is reasonably priced and always well stocked and the wait staff are very pleasant and attentive to all our needs.“

Cocktails ? well mixed and round off an evening on site. The food was well seasoned and the size was appropriate for the price/performance ratio. We always find a place and there is always a place to sit for a longer time - check only when asked and not, as is often the case, directly at the table - so this is particularly pleasant for European guests... “I tried the extra hot spicy level once, that was REALLY spicy! Basically after each bite, I had to take a break for 5 min to cool my mouth down so I can continue eating, the pain level is 10 out of 10. Definitely will roll back to hot level.“

“Ahmed who’s is an amazing hard working supervisor making sure things are well maintained for customers. I also realized they have LYCAMOBILE which is a great phone service for unlocked phones. It’s nice to have data on my phone especially calling folks back home in india, Pakistan and Bangladesh isn’t bad at all. I like this store where many come together as a community to drink chai and buy good groceries.“

“Walked in and an woman yells at me “WHAT U WANT!” My reply, “ Can I see the menu?” Woman’s reply, “CHICKEN RICE ONLY!” Me, Okay that’s what I want. Woman, “sit!” She pauses the Pakistani TV show she was watching and after a few minutes walks out with a tray of Biryani that would feed four people. It was really really good! What I liked was that it’s not toned down for the local Palate. She really friendly too. The menu is limited and on the day I walked in it was chicken rice day. For the chicken tikka she said call ahead and they will make it for you. I will try it soon.“
