“Went through the drive-thru for Tuesday special, Papa burger, regular fries and a drink for $5. The employees were as nice as pie and the food is delicious. I bought two of them to give one to my co-worker and we both dedicating Tuesdays for A&W on Rio Linda blvd. So I wanted to update my older review but I guess I don't know how so I'm just adding it to the end of the first review. Second week of 5 dollar papa burger Tuesday, my burger has a sour smell to it something on it is old so I took a star away from them. That's the only change.“

“Was driving by and seen this! The america flag at half stuff. Stopped in food was hot fresh and handed to me within two or three minutes. Also the service was great!

Went by three other McDonald's and passed two schools and all of them had their flags at full stuff.“

“We accidentally stumbled upon KK's Fries because the place we were going to was closed. We are so happy that the other place was closed. I had the Bulgogi fries, and my husband had tht brisket fries. It was so good we were eating each others lol.

The owner was cool, interacted with the customers. People were genuinely happy to see him.

Its a small but mighty place! We will be back to try more foods! This is a hidden gem that you must try!!!

“I love this Chick Fil A. Have been going here for many years.
During COVID they underwent a renovation and the restaurant looks so unwelcoming now. I remember they used to have the Play Place and pictures of cows on the walls. This place used to have more personality and would stand other unlike the other fast food places.
Now it’s empty. And more expensive… how is fast food so expensive these days?!?

“We went to this location's drive thru yesterday around 2:30 or so and were told by the person taking orders that there was something wrong with drive thru ordering and to please come inside. I went inside and instantly noticed the workers were slammed which was the real reason they were not taking drive thru orders. The drive thru order taker was needed on the line. I worked food service for about 25 years, including diners, so I understood the real reason the drive thru wasn't working. No big deal. I realized a big part of the problem was that most of the orders were HUGE DoorDash orders. And more Door Dash delivery drivers were coming in constantly. BK simply does not have the staff to handle such a big work load and in the end this will bite them in the butt. It took about 15 minutes before I even got to order. This is not a slam, but a simple fact. There were people on the line freaking out, calling other workers to come in to help, people on the line threatening to walk out because they couldn't handle it. After I finally got my order in it was another 25 minutes as I noticed 4 FAMILIES and a Door Dash delivery guy who order AFTER me got their orders before I got mine. During this time there was a young man who had to leave the burger make station to help package fries and nuggets. I had noticed that he was wearing gloves but had reached into his pocket to get his phone at least 3 times. He became frustrated with the tongs necessary to grab the nuggets, sat it aside and said he was just going to use his hands. As someone who has been ServSafe certified in food safety and sanitation I immediately spoke up and said "Change your gloves, you have had your hands in your pockets at least 3 times." He asked what I said and I repeated. He left the line while removing his gloves and stayed in the office for most the rest of the time I was there. Also, during this 2 workers, Tiera and a male with long dreads, strolled in like an old lady with no sense of urgency while the other workers were panicking to get caught up. Tiera had a large afro popping out about a foot above her visor. Another health violation. She should have a net on her hair if it is not pulled back or covered by a hat. I saw neither of the two go to a hand washing sink before eventually going to help on the line. Another violation. I have nothing against these two employees. Tiera was really nice to me and i'll explain soon. But the manager should have done more managing although I appreciate she was actually helping. The other girl had to run an order out to someone parked and came back with two packs of chicken nuggets in her hand and put them BACK under the heaters. 3rd violation. Once food leaves the line and is bagged it does not go back on the line to be served to someone else. It is to be tossed into the trash. Once the 4th person that ordered after me got their food before me I approached the other girl working the line who took my order but was bagging the food at the time and asked why. She was rightfully exasperated, not at me, but at having skipped me. That's cool, relax, breath, I just want my food. She immediately got my order together and handed it to me. When I got to the car I noticed I had someone elses order along with part of my order, the two Whoppers from a 2'fer coupon. I asked to add cheese and no catchup. I got catchup but no cheese instead. I took them back in and told the girl and she had the guy with dreads make me two new burgers and properly tossed the two wrong burgers in the trash. While waiting Tiera asked if I would like a drink while waiting. She was really nice and apologetic. After receiving the two new burgers I went back to the truck, opened them up and both had no catchup, but only one had cheese. Not willing to go through this again we just sucked it up and went on about our day. I will still order from this establishment in the future. But they either need to get more people or they need to stop accepting Door Dash and other similar orders. It's too much for the sma“

Original post:We have been loyal customers for over 6 months now and very much appreciate having a halal food option open late. However recently things have changed at Capitol Gyros.

The employee frequently says they are out of things when he is too lazy to either cook or clean. He will say they’re out of fries 30 mins before closing, or most recently, said they close at 11:45 now. If that’s is the case they should update their hours to reflect that instead of wasting customers time. The unpredictability of the menu items and operating hours make dining here extremely frustrating.

We love this place and it is a shame to see it go so far downhill because of an employees laziness. When the usual employee works we do not have this issue. It is the new employee that they have that has been causing issues and the business to lose money. The new employee also makes the food poorly, often dripping in grease.“

“My fiance under sold how good this place was. The size of the shrimp and fish you get are a respectable size and worth the price. A small indoor seating area but plenty of outdoor seating. The meal was worth it. Best fish and chips place in Old Sacramento in my opinion.“

“It was good, took a while to get my food though. When I left people were reversing out of the drive through. I don’t think I was the only one who waited a long time. It’s fast food. You’re going there because you have limited time, for example you need to get back to your job to work.“

“It’s hot dogs and chili. Pretty basic. What makes this place special is the service. They are always fast and friendly. I don’t know if the drive thru person screwed up or if a customer forgot their order but I saw a girl run out from the back of the building towards a car to flag them down to make sure they got their food. “I stop by here way too often for my health but I grew up with these hot dogs and enjoy the weird chili dogs. They always seem to have the fries fresh out of the fryer, and their corn dogs are usually equally piping hot. Combo number 4 (chili dog and corn dog) was made for me.

I won’t recommend them for their food (although the fries are really good) but the service here is always friendly and quick, and the food is cheap and good. Definitely worth a stop.“

“This Carl's Jr is ran well again by a Hispanic man I know his name I just can't think of right now but he is so friendly ahwys smiling and courteous and the good is always fresh . This is how I remember Carl's Jr when it opened in my hometown Salinas in 1978. You can see my pictures and screen shots that I specifically put No Cheese. I WILL NOT be ordering from this location ever again. I just don't understand how they can keep overlooking this. He actually looked at us when he spoke, listened, and treated us like real people something that stood out so much, especially after the AI ordering system completely messed up our order earlier.

“Good food, not terribly cheap, but not terribly expensive. Western bacon Cheeseburger is a classic, but the western fries are disappointing to say the least. Guacamole fries also lack innovation imo. Biscuits and gravy were pretty fire if I remember, but only if you like biscuits and gravy.“

“This was a last minute decision for dinner. Menu is kept simple, but enough variety for the whole family.
Burgers where pretty, recommend getting the chili is what set the burger off! Large fry basket was enough for 5.
Food came out within 10 minutes of ordering and there was seating inside at 6 on a Saturday.
Lots of local coming in, ordering and taking to go. Family friendly.“
