“Went there for our first time and it was fantastic! Make reservations, which we didn't know we needed. However, there was a seats at the bar which is perfect for us. The bartender recommended food and we accepted, and so pleased we did! Calamari, prawn linguine and sausage linguine. His service and response time was impeccable. We also added the house wine to our meal which was a very good cab. No tap beers...the tappers were all fake and just for the look. Lol. Overall....we will be returning!“

“This is my boyfriend's go-to spot and he kept raving about how good it is, so of course I had to be the judge of that ;) We came in on a pretty busy Monday night, but were able to place our orders and snag a table. There's TVs all over so you won't miss out on anything no matter where you sit at. I got the Little Mule, which came with a sunny-side up egg. I absolutely loved the way the yolk oozed out. It was even better when I dipped the fries in it hehe. The fries themselves were really nice and crispy while maintaining a nice fluff to them. I liked how they used hawaiian rolls for their burgers, it adds a sweetness that balances out all the savory flavors. I took a bite of my boyfriend's burger and the chicken was super nice and juicy. He ordered a side of buffalo sauce which had a super unique flavor that was unlike any other buffalo sauces we've tried. It had a peppery undertone and was thicker than a normal buffalo sauce. Their burger patties are similar to a smash patty, so it has that nice crispy edge around it. I absolutely devoured mine since I was in the mood for a burger this night :p Everything was super good and I would totally come back to try out their other items :)!“

And before hand I drank beer that I must've had an allergic reaction to ( for context some gluten based drinks makes me go out into allergic shock) The bartender Wes was exceptional and ran to give me a Benadryl, and was so sweet and checking in on us. “Came here to try em out again after having a great experience 3 months ago then a lackluster experience 2 months ago. They had the PPV and its audio on unlike the last time I came by where they had the PPV but no audio. Customer service has improved quite a bit. Their food still tastes really good and it's fun when a bunch of other people are getting into the various sports they have playing on the TVs. I tried their Philly along with chicken strips and fries. Both were bomb. Also enjoyed a beer and cocktail. The only things I wasn't a fan of were the food times and lack of beer variety. Mine and my buddy's food was really good but it seemed like they took a really long time to cook it. Not sure how many cooks they have in the kitchen. It also seems like the beer menu doesn't change/rotate that much which isn't bad but it would be nice to enjoy some beers from nearby breweries. Still going to enjoy chilling here for future events.“

“WHERE DO ALL THE LOCALS GO? 5th Star for the great tequila selection as we decided on Mexican because our dinner was on National Margarita Day. Those who know me will be saying "That Terry.... Any Excuse for a good adult beverage". And you know what? They are correct. Here is my story: Altos Cantina was selected as it was in good proximity to our hotel and convenient enough for the Sacto folk joining us. Altos is a local establishment; parking plentiful and atmosphere friendly and comfortable. They also have patio dining which would be great in the spring and summer. Service is excellent from the moment you walk in to the Establishment. Now about the food. Be careful not to over order as portions are HUGE. Guacamole made fresh on each order. Tortilla chips are also home made. Be sure to try the double fried french fries nachos. A definite repeat for me next time I'm there.“

“Pros-Mango Margarita was amazing tastes just like a mangoyada-Beer options and selection were great definitely try the blueberry muffin flavor while it lasts-Jacob and Vanessa the bartenders made our evening so much fun. They were so sweet and attentive we had a blast with them.“

“Had the quesabirria taco with consume. SO GOOD! Our waiter was very kind and had a great personality. Went with family members for a "girls lunch" on a Saturday. Very family friendly. One ordered the birria ramen (bomb), another the flautas (just ok), and the last had the shrimp cocktail (yum). “While waiting for dinner reservations close by, I found this cool spot that serves ciders, beers and finger food. This used to be the “Cider House” that served poke bowls. I was really surprised on how tasty their ciders were here, that I ordered more than what I should have. It is like drinking juice ? soooo good! The staff were friendly, attentive and I really enjoyed the cozy relaxed vibe and they have outdoor seating and bar games. Will definitely return to try their food!!! Two thumbs up!“

“After enjoying glasses of chardonnay at nearby Luna Lounge (please reference my review if interested), my wife and I headed to The Blind Pig to enjoy a few cocktails. Upon entering, we were greeted by a friendly bartender by the name of Ronny. Our first round consisted of two dirty martinis (my new drink of choice), which Ronny put his fist (that's a good thing) into making. One of the things that I love about dive bars is the various demographics that usually frequent them (along with their interesting conversations). For our second round we ordered a "Manmosa (yes I know that sounds ridiculously machismo in 2024)" that Ronny insisted on putting a fruity spin on. Not only were we thankful for his suggestion, but his version was GOOD! In real dive bar-like fashion, Ronny provided us both with an extra cup to house the remainder of the Manmosa that could not fit into our glasses (another dive bar perk). As we sat at the bar, my wife and chatted while lightly watching the movie Step Brothers on one of the televisions. Although it was a fairly slow Saturday afternoon, I can imagine that this place gets pretty lively in the latter part of the night though. We observed lots of seating, games, and an area for karaoke (toasted karaoke is the best!). I highly recommend The Blind Pig if you're looking to have deliciously strong drinks at a price that won't have you waking up the next morning rethinking the decisions that you made the previous night!“

The food is good the waitresses are great, we also met the owner and he was very welcoming and nice, my husband shared a drink with him. We love that it is dog friendly in the patio area as well! This is a great place to watch any sports as there are multiple TVs and projectors.“

We were waiting for our party to join us but they ended up at their Natomas location. “Been here twice in last 3 weeks with my buddy and neighbor Mike. The food was pretty good for a sports bar. Our server the first time was Candace and last night Thursday September 28 was Teresa. Both times the servers were outstanding. They each were fun, friendly and very attentive. They both really added to an already good vibe. Loads of TV's and good viewing layout although the sound was very uneven between tv's and couldn't hear the broadcast for the Packer game. “I stopped by today at Harry's Bar and Grill. Harry was out front cooking BBQ. I stopped and purchased some BBQ. Let me tell you, the rack of lamb was fire!!!!. The chicken and ribs were very good. If you want some good food done the right way better stop by Harry's on Sunday's.“

The decor looks like it hasn't changed in decades, and why fix what is not broken? Exactly. Is it open or not? Well, bars rarely close around here. One way to find out, pull on a big wooden door. I really like when these places are dark inside, too. It reminds me of Europe. That's what happens when there are no windows. You really can't thumb your nose up at $4.50 drinks and $4 shots. Not that we did shots, but I did see the sign proudly advertising such activities. We liked our bartender and the regulars did not seem unfriendly at all. Engrossed in their own convos, sure. But I felt like I could probably join if I felt like it. I did not feel like it. There were a couple nice TVs with college football on. I did partake of the bathroom and the report is that she is clean and fresh smelling. Not sure if the popcorn is still around or if it is cash only. We paid in cash. There is a sink kitchenette in the back of the room, which added to the ambiance we enjoy. I also like that there are no windows, did I mention that? I did. Okay. A+ would recommend, will come again for cheap, stiff drinks, vibe check passed and all. Nothing better than a heavy-handed pour at $4.50. This is not a place to drive to if you're having more than a round or two. Alas, there is plenty of parking outside for the DD or rideshare. Cheers.“

The selection of games was good, but the condition of many of the game controls made gameplay less fun than it could have been.
