“First time here and it was good. Ordered L.I. Teas and they were a little heavy on the coke, more sweet than sour but were okay. Got a pizza and a burger. The burger was the best I have had in as long as I can remember. 10 out of 10! The pizza thought was a flop, literally. Stretched too thin and big outter crust. I ordered a pizza, not breadsticks. The bottom was paper-thin and the cheese and topping immediately slid off. Thr ingredients were awesome just not well executed. Service was great, not very busy on a Tuesday. We will come back again.“

“Love this place. I went on a Friday night around 7:30, by 8pm the bar filled up with people and the DJ started playing. It was a relaxed vibe to lean back, chat with good company and listen to great music. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a chill vibe. The two bartenders were kind and helpful too. Definitely give this bar a try.“

“Breakfast was really good. Eggs were cooked perfect for me and tots were golden brown and didn’t taste like old fryer oil. cool neighborhood joint in east Sacramento. The new owners are doing good things to the place. Place was getting busy by the time we left. Mixed crowd with good vibes. Nice outside patio area as well :) I think they had every game on they could. LOTS of TV’s……. Will be back for sure.“

“First time to your lovely experience! We were greeted, we were seated, and Hayley took care of all the rest! She took such good care of us, helped us determine the best choices for our evening. We decided to go with an assortment of the small plates, and boy was that a great decision! Everything was delicious, presentation was impeccable. And to top it off, we received an email of thank you for coming to the restaurant the night prior. Who does that these days? I don't know about you guys, but that's the first thank you note I've ever gotten from a restaurant after dining. Well, done, Grange... We will certainly see you again! And our waitress - whose name I unfortunately did not catch - was thoughtful, friendly, and hospitable; which is rare these days. “I had to have a very serious spinal operation at Sutter Medical that required us to have an 11 day stay. I cannot thank the staff enough for their compassion and kindness. They genuinely wanted to make sure that my room was clean and I had everything that I needed. It meant the world to me. The front desk staff and housekeeping went above and beyond! Plus, the food at the restaurant was top notch!“

“A group of us went here last night for the first time and had an absolute blast! We will definitely be going back. They had karaoke, and there were some pretty good singers, which made the night even more fun!

The service was phenomenal. Johnny and the bartender Sam, were both incredibly friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. They really helped make our first visit such a great experience.

We told Johnny it was our first time there and he gave us a quick tour, which was unexpected for a dive bar but much appreciated! It was super nice of him. As a group of women, we felt comfortable hanging out here.

The bar was clean, had a fun and laid-back atmosphere. It’s exactly the kind of place where you can relax, have some drinks, laugh, and have a great time.

We’re so glad we found this place. I’ll definitely be recommending it to friends, and we’re already looking forward to going back!“

“I went to Hawthorne's Hideout for a May 4th Star Wars event. It was fun to see all the Star Wars stuff around the room mixed in with the tiki items. The drinks were all served in different cups, depending on what you ordered. And there was a cool show as each set of drinks were being prepared to be served. It was fun to be around other Star Wars fans during the time hand hearing the stories of Hawthorne. The food served was good and came out during the middle of the event. If you do go, I would recommend to wander through out the room to see everything you can on the walls, the floor, and the ceiling. It was so much fun.“

The quality of their sound system, and music selection and thier show presentation was by far the best I've experienced if had. I've been singing karaoke in the greater sacred area since 1994. “All bartenders here are very professional, friendly and attentive. They tolerate my nonsense..and remember my name! Cory is a legend, Steve is awesome, Michele rocks, and Jessica is excellent. The vibe here is dynamic, changing with the customer demographic throughout the day(they open early), but it is always fine. I see some reviews complaining about minor(trifling), issues..but thats not been my experience.
To serve such a varied clientele, all day, every day, this place nails it!

“Always a good experience when I go food is always good service is friendly. I went in on 7/31/2026 around 1 pm. I normally come later, I’m being specific about the date and time for who was working. I ordered hot wings extra crispy…I was hungry, they did come out pretty fast which should of been the first sign, like I said I was hungry and kinda pressed for time… I don’t know if the server remembered to tell the cook, but they were definitely not extra crispy if even cooked all the way. My stomach is bubbling a little as I type 😅 the wings are pretty big so they need at least 12 mins even longer for extra crispy. Whoever was the cook needs to realize that. Next time let get it right. Thanks“

“I'm 65 now but I used to go back there when I was in my 30s and 40s I can't remember the lady that owned it I think her name is Joanne very nice place I love the atmosphere in the morning the Dean Martin and the Frank Sinatra songs. Kind of reminded me of the way Sacramento used to be. I would come in with my painter whites I like to ask Joanne if I could play one song and she'd let me play some Black Sabbath. Of course I apologize to the guys and I'd buy them a drink. I think that's why she let me do it 😇“

“Luna Lounge is the bar located in Bella Bru Carmichael. Great patio with shade !!, and a fountain wall. Easy parking at the small Five Corners shopping mall. Good variety of cocktails ( big fan of the blackberry martini!) and decent selection of beer. Happy hour and access to Bella Bru’s menu.“

It was a little weird to have the pancetta on the side vs mixed into the dish but everyone agreed we really liked them. Then we had Dungeness crab arrabiata, duck fat seared scallops and the short rib. Favorite dish was the short rib! The arrabiata had a good variety of seafood but I wasn’t a huge fan of the squid ink tonarelli. The scallops we tasty just tiny and too few, so that was the least liked dish. Finished off with a flourless chocolate cake that was good. Next time we want the brie appetizer! I’d dine here again but it hasn’t moved into my top 10. We each had a cocktail to start and shared a modest bottle of Pinot. Out the door $400.“

“This place is a great feel all around. Public and private options with top service. The outside patio definitely a motion. Ownership is on top of everything. ( thanks to the owners for the tour) The chef with the food all TOPS. Bartender pleasant and attentive. DJ mixed with live entertainment make it date night appropriate fa sho! Again that patio!
