“What a great spot! Great drinks, chill atmosphere, and good music. The lighting is fabulous for a night cap, intimate conversation, and a few drinks before the clubs. Tables and seating are varied in placement from the bar stools, to a standing table, to smaller tables with big seating areas. Our bartender was excellent and they were so accommodating to our group which grew and grew by the end of the night. Will definitely be going back again.“

“One Star- The food was not what I expected. The flavors of Italy was not there. The seafood pasta- clams and Musscles, we undercooked, shrimp and scallops were low quality and bland. 0 flavor. Sauce was very lacking in flavor. Couldn't tell if there was garlic in it or not. The bread had a distinct hint of burnt flavor on the back of my tounge. Not sure if you need to request bread or parmesan or what but I saw lots of people getting extra service. I definitely won't be back and maybe thats the point of giving some folks bad food or service is so their kind won't come back? Who knows but mission accomplished. I nor anyone I know will be back.“

Also if you want drinks, the waitress was upset that we use a QR code on the check to pay instead of Apple Pay that was kind of weird she wasn’t around to tell us not to do that. They don’t have regular iced tea they brew the tea and then put it on ice. I had Mandarin and it tasted like hay. I don’t know why they don’t have a regular iced tea. I ordered a chicken mush, pile of white sauce and vegetables. It tasted good just a bit disappointing and my husband had a pile of mush. It didn’t even look like an enchilada. It was green. It didn’t taste very good so for $66 including 20% tip and also they add on a gratuity for their chef, can you believe that I would only recommend going there for chips and salsa and a drink but not their food also weird was a projector screen that was down that was right next to our heads the kind of blocked the window that was kind of annoying. We’re kind of disappointed we were looking for a nice place to go not too many good restaurants in West Sacramento Sacramento. sorry.“

“I can't say enough great things about Octopus Baja! A friend and I had lunch to celebrate her birthday and were very pleased with everything. The food and the drinks were amazing! Our favorite were the shrimp tacos and grilled octopus. All of the drinks were amazing, especially the coconut ones! The waiter was very attentive and made sure we always had what we needed. Can't wait for the next visit!“
