This place is amazing! The staff are very business oriented, professional, energetic and fun. Each and every server and bartender always have a smile on their face. The weekend dinner menu is my favorite, which they have every Thursday through Saturday after 4 PM. I love how when I come in to this place I see familiar faces and how family oriented this establishment is. The food ranges from average to good. Portions are usually generous. Service can be friendly and engaged at times to lacking at other times. The interior needs an update, the carpet is worn and stained. The best item I've had here is probably the hamburger.

The monarch has gone through some recent changes and really upped their game. We had dinner there tonight and were pleasantly surprised at the quality of food and the responsive service. I would give the restaurant 5 stars but they need to work on the lighting. Too bright more like cafeteria lighting.
