My 90 year old mother is hospitalized and wanted Tortilla Soup from El Pollo Loco, but she asked for mostly broth and vegetables. The super friendly lady at the counter acknowledged my request and then personally attended to scooping up the soup herself! Her thoughtfulness was very much appreciated! I'll always think of coming here first when me or my family want El Pollo Loco!
Came during the height of their lunch rush, and I was in and out within 10 minutes. No one seems flustered or irritated, everyone just hunkered down and did their job and it looked like they were working as a team. The manager on site was doing such amazing job. Service wasn't overtly friendly but they werent apathetic either. Not gonna lie, I was definitely irritated there was literally a line out the door, but we all go through so fast. Turned my pissy mood around.

Service person was very rude for no reason. Just for my co-worker to try to use two coupons since we're all at work and one person has to go to get food. That's it for this chicken establishment. You know there's a church's chicken a block away and there are so many eatery places on university Ave in Riverside. Maybe corporate needs to address how coupons are used for multiple employees at work.
