“Cenaduría Oaxaqueña Donaji truly exceeded my expectations. The restaurant is set in a house with limited parking, but plenty of street parking nearby. Luckily, we found a spot inside. As we stepped under the large white tarp, we were welcomed like guests at a family gathering, I immediately felt at home. While waiting for our table, they kindly seated us next to a heater, making the experience even more comfortable. From there, we could watch the food being prepared, and it was nothing short of an art form. After a brief 15-minute wait, we were seated and ready to enjoy our meal. I tried a tlayuda for the first time, and it was absolutely delicious, loaded with quesillo, beans, and three types of meat: cecina, chorizo, and what appeared to be chuleta. The portions were incredibly generous. We also shared a quesadilla with epazote, which was just as flavorful. With those two dishes, my wife and I had more than enough to eat. To top it off, the café de olla was incredible, and the hot chocolate was simply exquisite. I highly recommend visiting this hidden Oaxacan gem in Riverside!“

“This was my first time going here with my sister,cousin,daughter and neice. it was very nice we sat outside the noise was moderate but overall quite the surroundings was nice as well with all the lights and activities going on.The food was on point and so was the customer services. “I recently ordered the quesabirria tacos, birria ramen and some large sides of beans and rice. The food is really good! My daughter loved the ramen, and my husband, who's picky about refried beans, was impressed. They put so much meat in the tacos that I could have made 2 more tacos. Even the ramen was loaded. “Had their “enchiladas divorciadas” and they we’re phenomenal! One was filled with juicy fresh steak and the other with grilled chicken. Chicken was also juicy and tasted exceptional. Came with rice and beans. My husband got their “empanadas de tinga.” Came with side of beans rice and garnishes.

We also had their sopa azteca 12oz and some ingredients were chicken, tortilla chips, avocado, in a rich tomato base soup. Not tangy and bitter. Just right!

This will be my new preferred Mexican restaurant. Price was reasonable for tasty quality Mexican food. Like my husband said “feels like we’re eating at home.” Food was authentic. ?‍↕️?‍↕️?‍↕️“

“The food here is decent but we tried it 2x after our acupuncture appt, my husband and I and it just doesn’t feel / taste super authentic. We took my son some menudo home to be the ultimate judge. He also said the menudo was plain no flavor. I didn’t clock on don’t recommend because it is reasonably priced. Service was rather slow though, my husband can drink a diet soda like I can my wine , and they just didn’t keep up with it for him. So if in a rut and need food and don’t care about flavor Ten this is your spot.“

“This was my second visit to this food truck. First found it last year on my visit to California and went again this year because it was so good last year. It’s in an area you wouldn’t think to go, just on the side of the road in an industrial looking area, but it’s worth it to go. They are really friendly and the food is a great value and AMAZING! I got their Al Pastor and Carne Asada tacos, bother superb, but the real star is the quesa-burria. It is a must get! So flavourful. And they have a little seating area set up with extra toppings and salsas for everyone’s tastes. Love this place, will definitely go again on my next visit to Riverside. Thank you again!“

“Orders from this place initially came from door dash but not once have my coworkers and I had an issue. This is one of those places that can get really busy, so call your order in ahead of times if you are going on a quick break. The item I enjoy the most is their emely burrito but all of their burritos are filled with ingredients and full of flavor. I think I am a big eater but I have not finished the burrito in one sitting ever.

I have also gone in to pick up my order and staff were friendly and professional. Price wise my burrito was less than 12$ but for the portion you're given it is a good deal. Parking in the shopping center can be a little congested depending on time but that's not the restaurants fault. I see happy customers when I go into the facility so I assume they are satisfied. Will update with photos before I bite into it next time :)

Vegetarian options: If you are vegetarian they have a few options and customizing can be done per request. It does not advertise as a vegetarian place, they have limited options and the emely burrito is one such option.“

“Great place! Chill and friendly atmosphere. I was glad to see they serve nopales on their Aztec tacos. Nopales are very healthy, nutritious, and delicious, but sadly, not many places offer them. That’s part of what sets this place apart.
Also, the service was outstanding! 👍🏼 They made me feel very welcome there.
I’d say both the food and service are 5 stars. I don’t live in the area, but if I did it would be my go to lunch spot.“

“Today I was in Riverside for work when I was hungry so I went on yelp to look for a good Mexican food place. Tacos Al Fuego popped up so I had to come give it a try. I got the appetizer platter which came with chips and salsa, sopes and taquitos. Wow this thing was delicious and had such a good variety. I also got quesobirria tacos this was so amazing and juicy. Everything here was awesome and the service was so great. This is definitely a 10 out of 10. I will be back next time I’m in Riverside.“

If you come here make sure it's the regular squad. There is a man here that's very cheerful and he's almost always the one to give you a warm welcome. That's when you're in good hands.
Don't come here during the holidays. I came during halloween and here's my advice. If you see that fill-in team that looks like the walking dead, they won't give you a "hello" or "thank you" stay away!! My goodness I've never had rice that chewy....

All in all it is a great place for fresh flavor when it's not a holiday.“

“came here for the first time last night because I just opened a tow yard close by and the place seemed to be poppin. was a awesome choice. pulled in and the lot had classic cars and low lows parked outside. that was the first sign that it was meant to be. ordered fish tacos and they were bomb! wife ordered flautas for the babies and they had cheese inside. apparently they were amazing also. the salsa bar.... every salsa was very good I had to have all of them. good vibes! was leaving and a guy was walking to patio with a burrito the size of a football no lie! will be a new spot for the family for sure!“

“I walked over here while waiting for repairs. I was the first customer in as they opened. The lady greeted me as I sat down and came to the table shortly after. The menu looked really good. I had a long drive to make, so I settled for the special that day, chicken enchiladas with verde sauce. I was expecting the food rating to be "its aight, it's not bad". No, my food was absolutely flavorful, hot, and the portions are good. I was surprisingly taken back after my first bite of the enchiladas. Complementary chips and salsa as well. Now the salsa that comes with the chips is a bit boring, so add one or both bottles you see there. Help em out a little bit ?
Big screen TV with good music playing at the time. Come watch the game, kick back with some modelo and margaritas. I Love the decorations in the place. I am giving an overall 4 because the server should double-check the money count. I gave the exact change of the bill in order to tip, and I received some cents change back. Not a problem, she corrected it. Next time I'm in Riverside, I will return for a quick, fulfilling flavorful lunch. P.s. this special was $9.99. It's worth every buck, too.

“This place is pretty good . We had the fish taco meal for about $13 dollars . Came with rice and beans . Let me tell you the tacos were piping hot and fresh 10/10 . They will bring you lemons and peppers witch I have to also add the pepper was seasoned, now that was a game changer , I spilt it open took the seeds out and I lace it on my tacos 10/10 . We also shared 3 rolled tacos . It was also good but I will add pretty expensive but definitely worth every penny . We used the chips they gave us as nachos with the green sauce they have and leftover beans rice and other leftover veggies . All in all a perfect meal .. I complemented the chef cause if the food is perfect the chef should know . Oh and horchata taste like Cinnamon Toast Crunch milk . 10/10 but no refill . Only juices are free refill . Next time“

“We did not know what to expect when we walked into this little, unassuming restaurant.
What we discovered was the most delicious Mexican food I have ever had. It is definitely not fast food, but you could tell the chefs put their heart and pride into each dish. The fish was wonderful. My husband was so impressed with the soup. I have never been particularly impressed by tortillas, but these were the best I have tasted. I will remember the hot chocolate and try to replicate it at home- probably to no avail. I am glad we took a chance with this place.“

Just a friendly heads-up about the hot salsa for the torta ahogada: it's not playing around! Seriously spicy, but oh-so-good! “I have been going to Templo del Sol since I moved to Riverside about 10 years ago. This is where I go when I'm not in Mexico (which is often) and to me it's just like being in Mexico. I especially like the way they serve Albóndigas soup at the beginning of the meal. I have not been here for a while but the waitress would always remember us and verify that I wanted carnitas and jamaica (my usual). Some reviewers complained that the food is not authentic--well, the cuisine varies in different parts of Mexico so there are differences in the way a dish might be prepared. This is one of the very few restaurants that I actually enjoy giong to in Riverside.“
