The reason i gave 2 stars for the atmosphere is because i asked the worker how she felt about working there since she looked miserable she told me she hated it their and dont apply and whenever the owner (some Indian guy) would look up all the staff would act like they were in severe jeaoardy if they made eye contact which was interesting to watch over and over. “We love this place. It's never overly busy where you can't get a spot (but there's always people in there!) They have a good selection of wine for us non beer drinkers and my husband always has a great selection of beer to choose from. The staff is very friendly and I love that you can bring food from outside places in. It's always really clean too! Great local spot.“

“Very good pub! My fiance and I came here for st paddy's yesterday and enjoyed every bit of it!It was very crowded but was to be expected for the holiday. We still somehow managed to find seating. The ambience was very home-y, I loved the wooden booths and historic artwork. I'm a big history person so I loved it!! Much better than most pubs I've ever been to, with very fast service even with the amount of people there. Fish was delicious with a soft bun. Fries were hot. Shepherds pie was good just a little salty. Pretzel was good, cheese sauce was okay. Overall had a good experience here! Will definitely be back! :)“

“Came here the other night with a friend, and had a pretty good experience. We (or at least I) couldn't believe how busy it was for a Wednesday night. "How are there so many people out on a Wednesday?" "Nobody goes to work anymore." I had two cranberry and vodkas, and honestly do not remember what he had. My drinks must have been good, because it's now Friday afternoon, and I'm still slightly reeling from Wednesday. There was only one bartender, but he seemed to be doing a pretty decent job keeping up with the crowd. I'm not sure if it's just because I haven't been out enough lately, but I was really impressed with the vibe and the ambiance. Everyone there seemed really chill. It was a bit loud, but not nearly as loud as somewhere like Scarlett's down the street. We were both pretty sure that there used to be pool tables here, but noticed that they were gone now. Overall good spot to grab a drink late at night on Sutter Street.“
