“Sushi was great! We sat at the sushi bar, took recommendations from the chefs and loved every single bite. We had creamy maguro and spicy rainbow rolls, and hotate (scallop) nigiri. They have some great happy hour deals and is definitely one of the most affordable sushi lunches in the area. Recommend, we’ll definitely return!“

“Recently ate lunch here and was so pleasantly surprised! Our meals were made to order and you could see the cooking staff making the meals. Had Kung Pow Chicken, Won Ton Soup and a beef dish I forget. What I won’t forget is how delicious it all was. And generous portions! Needed to go boxes. This place is a hidden gem. “The papaya salad is to die for and the customer service has been great both times I have gone from the asian make owner! My guy friend and I have gone once for dining in and the second time when my guy friend and I got takeout. I can’t stop raving about the papaya salad! “Finally, another variety of Asian food in Folsom! The restaurant is still having River Thai sign at the front so it was a bit confusing. There are 2 kiosks to order the food or you can go to the cashier to order.

The service is semi self service. They brought our food to the table in brown to-go boxes. However, the portion was generous for the price.

- Hainan chicken rice: the chicken pieces were perfectly cooked and juicy (but a little bit bland for my taste). The rice was fluffy. The soup broth was good and very hearty.
- Crispy chicken with rice: it’s my favorite between the two. The coating was crispy and flavorful while the chicken meat was still juicy. My favorite part was the spicy sauce! It was delicious!!!

“This is our favorite neighborhood spot. Always consistent. Food is fresh and flavorful! All time faves are General Chicken and the Stir Fried clams, but honestly, everything is great.“

“This is really a hidden gem, best dumplings I’ve had in a long time. All dumplings are made by hand and are very delicious. Seeing is believing, and I saw the lady making the dumplings. I ordered wonton soup, which was very tasty. My wife ordered steamed dumplings that was delicious, and I ordered the fried dumplings. My wife also ordered Ube steamed buns 😁. The pickled cucumbers wasn’t spicy, but was flavorful. ( I can’t eat a lot of spicy foods) every once in awhile is ok. I took home my fried dumplings some of my wife’s steamed dumplings and the pickled cucumbers for an add on for our evening meal. From where I was sitting I could see Folsom Dam. Traveling 10 miles for some delicious dumpling was worth the distance.“

“Just got to try this place out for the first time in 24 years. Living in the area I’d pass by and today I decided to try it and it did not disappoint. The service was great. A woman served me and my date, she was lovely. And the food was even better. The lady helped us set up sake bombs. Will be coming back. This place became my new favorite sushi restaurant. I thought it was very good and the chicken had a nice flavor and was not dried out. I nearly did not go in because the storefront was blackened and was a bit surprised when the door opened.“
