“Mochinut has made a name for itself, from wherever it is they originate from, somewhere between Taiwan and Japan I'm sure, they definitely deserve the praise and attention of all fellow donut lovers. The texture of mochi with the simple but thoughtfully-classic flavors makes it difficult to choose but impossible not to pass up. Everything is subtle but to the point, no frills, thrills or unnecessary grills, just the dollop of drizzle and a loving layer of icing or flavored sugar, it's the Krispy Kreme you want without the grease or the self-hate that is sure to follow minutes after the box had been emptied, crumbed and tossed in sad coffee jizzzz. The texture is very well balanced, the only thing I would maybe have to say that needs improvement is the freshness but we also didn't come until after 4:20pm-- so story would've been different if I'd shown up at the crack of first donut. If I was casing for more cheese and fried foods, without the OC fair, I'd consider stuffing my face with their multiple flavors of fun batter on a stick. Some of their corndog flavors looked.. like I need a bite or two. And I'm.. one of the last persons who'd ever volunteer to chomp down on corndogs-- any dogs, for that matter. Mochinut you have my blessing. Make sure to go a little extra and get a pack of at least three. Otherwise unveiling what's in this Tiffany box is going to be way sadder than a hungry tiger. If pastries could be animals, these would be the mane on lions. If you could eat a ring of pinchable powerful fur, wouldn't you? Then sleep for two days. I am full, Mochinut! Thank you!“
“There's no reason this place needs less than 5 stars. All these other people are nuts. It's a Winchell's not a Starbucks. They have new hot sandwiches, get their Tuna wrap or Bagel sandwiches. It's freshly made. All the drinks and food here are fairly priced, not too long of a wait for fresh made food.“
“Step into Munchkins Donut Shop and be greeted with a warm smile and a sweet treat! This charming donut haven is a delight for the senses - the moment you walk in, the heavenly aroma of freshly baked donuts envelops you, making your mouth water in anticipation. The service is as sweet as the donuts, with friendly staff who make you feel like a regular. And the donuts? Absolutely divine! Fluffy, flavorful, and perfectly sugared, they're the perfect treat to brighten up your day. Whether you're a donut devotee or just need a pick-me-up, Munchkins is a must-visit destination that will leave you feeling delightfully sugared and utterly charmed!“
“Glazed and non glazed blueberry donuts are to damn good! And don't get me started on the hot breakfast sandwiches, they're made to order and all of them are so good, The service is always super quick and they always have a smile on their face. The shop is always clean, and they're always tables available to sit at, I 100% recommend giving this small shop a try“
“We stopped here for Donuts yesterday and they were good. We got here as they opened up for some cold weather breakfast with coffee and all . My first time here. I got some Chocolate Skiittle donuts, and they were pretty good. My girl wanted milk and donuts. Nice staff and cool area to chill and have some donuts. Might be my go to spot.“
“Needed something healthy for breakfast while on my work break and decided to give them a try. Girl at the counter was so helpful. I got the banana nut bread with peanut butter added and to my suprise, it was absolutely delicious. I'd give a 5 star but the price was just too steep as 12 bucks for a smoothie seems crazy but I guess it's just the times. I'd recommend and definitely come back just not as often as it isn't budget friendly.“
“Probably the best donuts in the area. The lady was super friendly and assisted my toddler son and I. We didn't order too many things, but one of the measuring sticks I use when trying a donut place is how good their old fashioned glazed is. It was one of the better ones I've had because it tasted fresher and a little fluffier than other places. Would highly recommend if you live around here.“
“It's my first time here and I decided to grab some food before my wax appointment next door. I ordered the bacon egg and cheese breakfast bagel and it was sooooo good! Hot and fresh and the service was fast and excellent! Definitely coming back“
“I'm not typically a donut person, but during a visit to Costa Mesa (a while ago), a friend insisted I try Fill Bakeshop, and I'm incredibly glad I took their advice. Tucked away in Orange County, this bakeshop was a delightful surprise that challenged all my previous notions about donuts. Even though they've since moved to Fullerton, my experience in their Costa Mesa location left a lasting impression. From the moment I walked through the door, I was enveloped by the enticing aroma of fresh pastries—a true feast for the senses. The menu boasted an array of unique flavors and offerings, far beyond the scope of any ordinary donut shop. After some thought, I chose several of their signature mochi donuts. These weren't just ordinary donuts; they were extraordinary. Each donut offered a perfect mix of chewiness and softness, with flavors that were both innovative and impeccably balanced. But the excellence didn't stop at the donuts. Their drinks menu was just as remarkable, with a variety of coffee and tea selections that perfectly complemented the pastries. I indulged in a matcha latte, which was flawlessly prepared—sweet, yet with a depth of earthy matcha flavor. The staff were genuinely warm and welcoming, eagerly offering recommendations and sharing their personal favorites. The cozy and inviting atmosphere of the shop made it an ideal spot for enjoying a morning treat or an afternoon snack. For those who find themselves in Orange County, seeking out Fill Bakeshop is a must, regardless of their current Fullerton location. Even if you don't consider yourself a donut enthusiast, there's something at Fill's that will captivate your taste buds. Their innovative take on traditional pastries, coupled with a commitment to quality, shines through with every bite.“
“I would hate for my favorite donut shop to get crazy busy and make it harder for me to eat their deliciousness but I also want them to reap the benefits of their hard work and mad skills. This place rocks. Used to be across the street and that physical location closed but here they are, busy as ever in a strip mall just adjacent to Arby's and next to a liquor store. This place is legit- from the old-timers having coffee together in the morning to the line of workers grabbing breakfast before reporting to job site. The employees are courteous and kind, efficient and donuts are, most-importantly, so so good! I didn't even eat cake donuts before here. These orange ones changed me forever. The oil they cook in doesn't taste old or yucky. This is always my turnoff for some donut places. I always get a dozen and my coworkers all agree that this place is fabulous.“
“The protein coffee are amazing. One of the employees gave us a sample of one of their protein drinks. Which I believe was the peanut butter banana. It was delicious. Uptown Vibe is not just a cafe; it's a destination for those seeking a healthier alternative to their coffee and snack cravings. I highly recommend giving it a try - you won't be disappointed!“
“Food smells amazingFresh food I have never had something here that delicious my favorite its Boba drinks doesn't teast like powder which I love and the sandwiches are of the chain try them allMy kiddos love the donuts ? the ones with decorations I definitely bring my friends and family they come to visit“
“Super fresh donuts... You can actually see them making the dough and cooking them! I enjoy lemon filled donuts and this place actually makes 3 different options: powdered, glazed, and sugar. I'm not that big of a tiger tail guy but these were good. The highlight of the bunch was the coconut cream despite the price. A close second was how good their raised glaze is; crispy exterior and light and chewy interior... Watch out Krispy Kreme!“
“I work nearby and made it a ritual to come every week for the ham and cheese croissants. They are amazing especially the ones with bacon in it. I highly recommend their iced coffee as well it's so good ! The owners of the shop are very friendly and always service you with a smile. Hands down my favorite spot“
“We have enjoyed, many years now, the ham and cheese croissants, roast beef and cheese sandwiches, and the large chocolate donuts with chocolate chips and maple long John's. The 2 ladies that serve are always friendly and very hard working with a smile to start everybody's day.Kid-friendliness: They always ask how they're doing in school and wish them happy birthday“
“Really cool place to see and have a donut! Bring the kids or College kids and look out the window and watch traffic! A lot of artistic work on the donuts and atmosphere! Donuts are $2.50 to $4. They have vegan donuts and PBJ donuts. Jelly filled. The creeper was delicious! Cake donuts with no milk and eggs.“
“Best classic donuts I've had in awhile. Texture and sweetness level is spot on! From cake to raised to old fashioned, MJ does them all perfectly. It was so good we came back the next day to buy more. Auntie who helped us is so so kind and sweet to us. It's a Yorbalinda community staple for a reason!“
“A humble, unassuming, little donut shop run by the sweetest people. We've come here fairly often for the massive hot breakfast sandwiches that come with a free coffee. (Great prices compared to Starbucks down the street btw). There's a lot of options and I've enjoyed everything I've had here so far. The coffee can be caffeinated or decaf. The creamers are stored to the side with ice packs. There are other drinks in a fridge and snack options to the side of the register. The blueberry donut is really good. I've also enjoyed their custard filled donut which was full of custard. If you order a ham and cheese croissant, they cut it in half and heat it up for you, which is a nice service. The cheese inside is really good. The interior is pretty small, but there's some seats if you want to sit down and have your breakfast. We always get ours to go. On our most recent visit they were having a fundraiser for their friend that perished in the Monterey Park shooting. So glad to have this staple in the neighborhood and to have a small business to support! Highly recommended little breakfast spot :)“
“For over fifty years, my favorite donut has always been a cruller with chocolate icing. Increasingly it is very hard to find these donuts anymore. When I walked into Sweet O Donuts I saw some beautiful chocolate crullers. The shop was neat and clean. The polite young man behind the counter had a beautiful smile but to be honest the donut was my main concern. I bought it and took it home. I took one bite and realized it was probably the best donut I ever had the pleasure of eating. I didn't realize it at the time but he had also given me a bonus donut. This is a happy day.Thank you, Sweet O Donuts.“
“If you want to come for delicious donuts and impossible wonderful bagel sandwiches bacon and avocado come to the right place and she actually knows her customers so get to know her come by she's not afraid of the storm and it's in La Verne on foothill so stop by if you don't want want a burger from In-N-Out and you can get the ginger ale lemonade!!“
“This place is that kind traditional donut shop that looks like your 90s kid memories and has daily regulars who sit in their favorite chair with their coffee and old fashioneds gossiping about sports and politics. If you're looking for a fancy donut spot -- your Sidecar or Voodoo Donut -- move along. But, if you're looking for your new go-to spot for when you want to cheat a little and have a classic cheap fluffy glazed donut, this is the place. My husband found this gem when we first moved to the area and since that first time we walked in Jean was just the sweetest. She's super helpful and seems genuinely invested in her customers' lives. Now that we've been in a couple times she not only remembers us, but always asks how our family is and what's new in our world. Combine that with some of the best (and fluffiest) donuts I've ever had and this is definitely "our spot" now.“
“While waiting for my wife to be finished with her appointment, I needed a snack to satisfy my sweettooth. So I used my trusty Yelp app to search for donut shops in the area. Dot & Dough - Brea popped up, and it was only 2 miles away from where I was. So off I went to check them out. Dot & Dough is located in a busy strip mall. Luckily I snagged a parking spot fairly close. The shop is cute with a few tables to dine at, and a small display case. To my surprise, they do not make classic American style donuts. Nope, they make mochi donuts which I am not too fond of. Fortunately, though, they do make Malasadas which I am a fan of. I was told from the friendly young lady assisting me that it takes about 20 minutes to prepare the Malasadas. I did not mind cause I still had an hour to kill before picking up my lovely wifey. Went ahead and ordered 3 different Malasadas. Vanilla Malasada was hot and fresh. It was packed with vanilla cream, and it tasted delicious. Highly recommend! Classic Malasada tasted delicious too! No filling needed for their malasadas! I liked this even better than the Vanilla Malasada! Apple Pie Malasada was my favorite of the three. It was also packed with filling! So much so that it was just oozing out with every bite I took. I must have looked like a total slob while eating it at their shop. Did not care cause they tasted GREAT!!!! Have to say that these were the BEST Malasadas that I've ever eaten on the mainland! Maybe because I ate them when they were warm and fresh was the reason they tasted so damn good. Either way, I highly recommend trying the Malasadas at Dot & Dough!“
“The first thing I use to judge the quality of a donut shop is if there's a group of old timers sitting there early in the morning. This place checks that box! It's a great local shop that has a wide variety of fresh, tasty donuts! They have good coffee and great service! I love this little shop and glad it's right here in my neighborhood!“
“Overall good service atmosphere I got turkey sandwich with beet juice the service was quick and excellent would come back again if you looking for something healthy they have lots of fresh juice options too recommend 10/10 I would come back!“
“One of the Too Good To Go participants and local businesses that I love to support. The clerk is friendly and she does a wonderful job packing those beautiful donuts. Their donut selections are marvelous and it tastes even better. In the sweet side, you can also find bear claws, muffins, cinnamon rolls, cream puffs, fritters, etc. They also have great savory options such as croissants, sandwiches and bagels so check that out as well. If you are thirsty, they have amazing drink selections - coffee, smoothie, tea, milk, juice, etc. you name it. They have a limited seating but it is a fun place to hang out and chat. And, they have a large parking space.“
“came here on a gloomy day but the staff were all so cheery and kind, my day felt so much brighter! the donuts are mouth watering. this was my first time in and i can't wait to come back. i have a habit of visiting the thrift stores nearby, so i plan to add this as my first stop. they even sell mini versions of some of the donuts! perfect to pair with a coffee!“
“Great 24/7 donut joint! Always the best quality fresh donuts that don't disappoint. I always come for a random dozen and anything maple is already my favorite. Probably the best apple fritter in the area but feel free to prove me wrong. The service is always friendly.“
“I was very satisfied with their food and juices! The customer service was excellent and the store ambiance was nice and clean! I definitely will come back! Seems they are under new management, it looks good and seems they are doing everything right ! Highly recommended!“
“Quick review: I came in for a couple of donuts after getting a hair cut nearby. Got the sprinkles glazed and the peanuts glazed. Both were really good, not stale. The lady threw in a bunch of donut holes in the bag. I thought that was a nice touch, wasn't expecting that. I'll be back.“
“I came here at 9AM to grab some donuts for my team, and the service was absolutely amazing. The donuts were a huge hit, and I look forward to coming back again! I highly recommend this place if you're looking some high quality donuts and food.“
“First visit to Golden Star Donuts. The lady behind the counter was very friendly and the old fashioned donuts we had were some of the best I’ve ever eaten. We came late Sunday morning and the selection was a bit limited due to many thing being sold out which makes me think this place is quite popular. I would return again.“
“Alan, Mey and Ling and providing beautiful service to serve all of la habra city with coffee, deli sandwiches, and scrumptious desserts that will satisfy your taste buds.JAK Donuts have been here for more than over 40 yearsParking: Open parking lotKid-friendliness: They do custom donuts for each holiday for the kids“
“Me and my dad get coffee every other weekend and we tried a few other places but this place is probably the best since the service is great, the food is immaculate, and the place is always clean, tidy, and organized. Tried a lot of different things and all have been perfect, the donuts, the sandwiches, the coffee, and especially the smoothies that remind of a licuado from Mexico. It has definitely become a staple in my life.“
“This is my FAVORITE donut shop. I love all the choices, especially the award winning glazed, and the maple and apple fritters! Their holiday/specialty donuts are so creative and beautiful--have your cameras ready. The owners, Bo and Susan are the best! I highly recommend.“
“I recently had the pleasure of trying the delicious treats from Bakers Dozen Donuts and let me tell you, they exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I entered the shop, the warm and inviting aroma of freshly baked goods filled the air, instantly making my mouth water.First and foremost, the donuts themselves were absolutely divine. Each one was meticulously crafted with perfection and had just the right amount of sweetness. The dough was incredibly soft, airy, and incredibly fresh. I was blown away by the wide variety of flavors they offered, from classic flavors like chocolate and glazed, to unique and innovative combinations such as maple bacon and lemon lavender. Every bite was a burst of flavor, and it was evident that they use the finest quality ingredients. What truly sets Bakers Dozen Donuts apart is their attention to detail and exceptional customer service. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to help you navigate through their extensive menu. They genuinely care about their customers' satisfaction and take pride in their creations. The donuts are beautifully presented, showcasing their dedication to making each treat a work of art.The shop itself is cozy and clean, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that is perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee and indulging in a donut or two. Whether you're seeking a quick breakfast on the go or a well-deserved treat throughout the day, Bakers Dozen Donuts is sure to satisfy your cravings.Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend Bakers Dozen Donuts to anyone searching for the ultimate donut experience. Their exceptional flavors, top-notch customer service, and cozy atmosphere combine to create a truly memorable visit. Trust me, once you've tried their donuts, you'll be hooked and eager to come back for more!“
“I recently tried the bagel sandwich from YumYum and it was absolutely delicious! The sandwich was plentiful and packed with flavor. I really appreciated that they weren't stingy with the toppings - every bite was loaded with delicious ingredients.I've had a few sandwiches from YumYum before and they never disappoint. The quality of their ingredients and attention to detail is really evident in every bite. If you're looking for a satisfying and tasty lunch option, you can't go wrong with the bagel sandwich from YumYum. I highly recommend it! Pro tip: use the croissant instead of bagel *chefs kiss*“
“Great donuts + awesome service = a place I'll come back to for many years to come. Not a big fan of donuts in general but when I want to treat my kids out, it will be at this place. Love to support local business and the new owners are really cool. Check it out & treat yourself!“
“Great customer service, friendly and clean. I have been buying Dodger Donuts for a few years for my coworkers. Cost is $30 for special decorated dozen donuts with no filling inside. Always fresh and tasty. I recommend this shop for all donut lovers.“
“I think It's a family donut shop. It's small but warm. Many seniors hangout and having coffee and donuts. Unlike the chain stores they have fancy menu. This Daily Donuts menu is simple but good enough for you to enjoy a simple breakfast. Also, less than $5 will do. In chain coffee shop, ha ha you got to pay at least $10.Nowadays, I will try to support more small business rather than big chain stores.?Oh! I got a free donut hole. ?“
“Excellent donuts. Killer selection. Friendly staff. Easy to find. I have to admit I love donuts. Eat them all the time. And I am a diabetic. Ops I will go back there often even know it's 35 minutes away. The place is clean but older. Wide selection .“
“One of the softest donuts I've had in a while. Ordered a strawberry crème donut, a glazed donut, a sugar donut, and a Bavarian crème donut to go. All very delicious and airy! Not too sweet. Just perfect. Service was nice but they did charge $.50 for using a credit card“
“My whole family will only come here for bagels and donuts. The owners are nice and their food is so good! I like bringing a bunch of bagels and cream cheese to work functions or my son's school staff, and every time they're always asking me where I get them because they're so good. They're fast and delicious... can't ask more from a morning breakfast.“
“In a hurry most mornings like most people! You come here place your order or call it in and they team here are awesome! Breakfast burritos, breakfast sandwiches, fresh coffee, donuts and more! My kiddos love this place. Once again the customer service is great, always a smile and fast service.“
“Some of the best ham and cheese, croissants, and donuts in the area. Quality of taste is fresh cooked every morning. The service is also the best she serves with a smile family donut shop. We love to support small business.! kids and I have been coming here for the past five years prices are fair. She also has different items on the menu, smoothies, sandwiches, coffee, custom sandwiches, breakfast sandwiches, custom donuts. She also does custom orders.“
“Just stopped by ST Donut and got some fresh donuts for my daughter. I've been taking her here since she was in a stroller for the last 5 years. The couple that works here has been working for 23 years 7 days a week open to close except for major holidays. They do not take days off and you can definitely see the fatigue on some days... My daughter always says loudly "Hi Auntie! Hi Uncle!" when she comes in and they always smile and happy to see her. She loves the rainbow sprinkled donuts, but would try the Chocolate bars and maple bars as well, and she would always get a couple donut holes. She also prefers the cheap chocolate milk to her fancy Horizon chocolate milk at home. She just recently tried the strawberry and cream croissant and she's been asking for it every time we've been coming. This is a CASH ONLY establishment like alot of Asian restaurants. Credit cards charge fees and Auntie doesn't want to charge more for people using credit cards or raise the price of the donuts. Most of her customers are high school kids and regulars that know it's cash only, no one needs to be financing a donut anyways. Running a business is hard, especially when covid shut down the schools and businesses which was their main clientele. They work really hard, I would say they work harder than most of us so if she is a bit snappy, try working 7 days a week for 23 years and see how jolly you are. If you haven't tried them, stop buy and grab a donut or croissant. Their ham cheese and jalapeño is my favorite or you can get a sprinkle donut like my daughter. Nothing fancy, just the kind of donuts we grew up with.“
“Whenever I want to get donuts I only go to Kenny's Donuts. You can keep your Dunkin Donuts which I grew up on back in 1989 long before they came to California and compared to Kenny's Donuts I'd rate them a 3 stars out of 10. I don't understand why everyone always gives Krispy Kreme such high praise for their donuts cuz personally they barely get 1 star out of 10. I won't rate their shops just their donuts cuz I'm sure their employees and the restaurants would get way more stars than the generic taste of a simple glazed donut which I sadly wasted money on trying it out back in 2002. You want great taste and quality you go to Kenny's Donuts and I promise you'll be going back every morning but don't go before 430-5am cuz they make everything fresh and warm after they open at 3am and all the good stuff takes time to make but I usually go around 515-530am when I know everything is made and still warm and there is never more than 2 people inside. If you like regular glazed, glazed twist, glazed donut holes, maple/chocolate bars, jelly, then Kenny's is the best place to go and every donut is $1.45 - $1.65, or you can order a breakfast sandwich, to go with a hot cup of coffee, or a made to order blended drink off the wall picture menu, or a cold drink from their 2 big drink refrigerators. If you're a fan of racing legend John Force you might just see him there, he's a longtime regular and goes often. I stood in line behind John a few months ago they even have his signed picture up on the wall. He lives only a few minutes away. I highly recommend Kenny's Donuts nextdoor to Canyon Inn bar & grill.“
“We discovered this gem of a donut spot while randomly looking for breakfast and was not disappointed! We love supporting family-owned businesses and the employees that work there are super friendly and kind. The shop is located in a shopping complex next to Big Lots so there's plenty of parking available.I ordered the tuna melt and chocolate iced donut. The tuna croissant was delicious! There were fresh lettuce, tomato, onions and pickles inside so I got a satisfying crunch from the vegetables while also enjoying the savory tuna salad and flaky croissant. For the chocolate iced donut, the dough was light and airy inside. I honestly did not expect anything but ended up being super impressed by their quality. We confirmed with the cashier that they do not use any whole eggs in their dough so their donuts are vegan. The donut shop itself is intimate inside with limited amount of seating. They also have a table outside to sit at as well. I saw that several people seemed like regulars, always a good sign of an excellent establishment. Will be frequenting this place in the future!“
“I've been coming here for the past 10 years and it's still one of my favorite places to go to for a bagel sandwich. It's owned by a lovely couple who are always so welcoming and kind. The quality is consistent and always so delicious!“
“I've been coming here since 2016/2017 & this is the best donut place I've ever been too. I always get the turkey bagel & it's always so delicious !! Service is great I usually order on the phone and by the time I get there it's all fresh & ready to go . This place is always clean & ambiance is good ! One time I was running late to work & I had forgotten my wallet & they were generous enough to let me pay the next time I came :) Would totally recommend stopping by and trying their turkey bagel or anything on the menu !“
“This is a local donut establishment and I got to say they make some good donuts fresh every morning plus their smoothies are really good .The services is friendly and courteous and you receive your breakfast or what ever you order in no time. There's plenty of parking, handicap stalls are close by .You need to get there early because everything is usually sold out by the afternoon.“
