Disclaimer: do not come here on Chinese New Year. The lines are RIDICULOUS. The roast duck here is pretty dang good. It's juicy and tender but a wee bit salty. Prices are comparable to other Chinese bbq spots. Everyone raves about the lunch combos but I have yet to try them. Mainly because I don't care about the rice or whatever sides that come with the combos. I just want the delicious juicy meat! Employees have always been friendly. Was so craving for some good ol' fashion HK duck or chicken ... but cash only :( Then the host of this tucked away shop HK Supermarket does not participate in cash back program. No quack or cluck for me.

Wednesday 1/10/24 Lunch at MK Bbq Cafe in Rowland Heights with my colleague Benny; for his birthday lunch. Enjoyed Hong Kong style dishes with roast duck, soy sauce chicken, Char Chui, fish cake-Chinese broccoli stir fried and pork stomach-chicken soup. Hearty and savory foods.
