“What a cute little dessert shop tucked away in a strip mall in Rowland/Hacienda Heights. The name of this store is regal, it's referring to the Qing Dynasty Emperor, Qian Long lol. They even put out a series of clay dolls resembling the Emperor, his Queen and also his Royal Consort. The one turned facing the other direction remains a mystery, but I'd venture to guess it's either a concubine or Palace Maid. This place is famous for their coconut jelly dessert. This dessert comes in a variety of flavors. I picked the one with mango toppings. Velvelty-smooth in texture and the mango chunks added a nice zing of flavor. They package the coconut jelly dessert in a glass jar and you can reuse it!“

“.What I ordered: ✨Matcha Red Bean Mochi Coconut: GET THIS! My palletes were dancing with joy. You get so many flavors and texture. The first is the coconut jelly. It’s more of a tofu texture and melts into your mouth as soon as you take a bite. Then when you reach the red beans, you get a wholesome flavor of home (for those who grew up eating red bean desserts). Then you get to the bottom layer which is the mochi! It’s a bit chewy and I love it! Not sure if you are supposed to mix the layers together; I like eating each layer one by one. ✨Mango Purée: You cannot go wrong with this one! Love their mango purée; so sweet and fresh. They also give you huge chunks and a decent amount of mango! ✨Musang Durian Coconut Jelly: This was also one of my favorites as I am a HUGE lover of Durian. The Durian was high quality and they give you a generous amount. ✨Triple Latte: This reminded me of my mom would make for me. Definitely give this a try if you love latte/coffee! ✨Oatmeal Coconut: This flavor was okay for me. The texture reminded me of a Vietnamese dessert called Sticky Rice Pudding with Coconut Milk. However, as for the taste it was a bit bland in my opinion. Melo Melo has so MANY flavors I would love to come back and try: The Golden Kiwi Jelly, The Dragonfruit Jelly and the Strawberry Purée!“

His customer service was top tier!! It’s hard to find that these days. I definitely found my new coffee shop and look forward to trying their ramen. Definitely recommend 10/10“

“I'm not a foodie by any means, but this place throughly impressed me. I ordered the omurice with corn soup and fried chicken. The portion sizes was plenty for me and everything was really flavorful.

I would especially recommend the fried chicken. Each piece is huge compared to the typical karaage style chicken.

“Friday 8/9/24 Dinner at Golden Noodle & Grill in Rowland Heights. I’ve ordered #38 Roasted chicken on tomato rice. It is so crispy outside flavorful and tender inside; so delicious. This restaurant is a hidden gem which makes delicious Vietnamese foods with reasonable prices.

Long, service staff, was friendly and attentive to customers.

Van Huynh, restaurant owner & chef, has a great personality and cooks delicious Vietnamese foods. Dishes includes pho, broken rice, vermicelli, Chinese noodle soup, chow fun & mein, congee, Banh mi, Vietnamese deserts, milk shakes, and smoothies; all at a reasonable price. She took her time to greet me and even strike a pose for a photo which is posted on her Google map restaurant. Thank you Van!

The restaurant has nice decorations, clean, well lit, and well air conditioned on this warm day.

I recommend trying out this restaurant.

“Shout out to the employees who work on Christmas. All of the boba stores near my house were close and R&B was the only one open so I give them a try. Love their Cookie Monster. That’s so so good. It was crowded when I came but my order still came fast. Employees are helpful and nice. They are selling Sonny Angle and Smiski guys. Recommend the Cookie Monster with 50% sugar. I will come back with my friends“

“Hit the drive thru later in evening, service was fast. Thai tea was not overly sweet and the melon based drink we ordered was unique and refreshing. Macaroons were decent for quick food, but my comparison is from French pastry shops so am a tad biased. Prices were very reasonable for Cali.“
