“I didn't get the owners name, but she was out working just like anyone else would and she was so nice and inviting, which is rare these days. The food is excellent! Extremely fresh tasting and they have some unique sauces that other poke shops don't! Definitely give this place a chance if you haven't!“

Between that and their service, it's why we keep coming back. We live nearby and like to come in when I have a craving for their eel rice plate. I don't know what it is about their eel. It's better than some excellent sushi I've had and I would consider buying it if they put it in the menu a la carte.

My partner gets the Build Your Own plate. Sometimes we get a macaron ice cream. Sometimes we get a drink. It depends on our mood, but either way, it's always solid.“

Stopped by Poki Tomik while passing through La Verne for a meeting and had such a great experience. Ricky helped me build my poke bowl and was incredibly kind, and friendly. I had a specific sauce request and even when the bottle wasn’t working, she went above and beyond to make it right.

It’s refreshing to come across a place with staff who are truly customer service driven. Thank you for hiring people like Ricky she made my visit a great one. I don’t live in the area, but I’d definitely stop by again!“

“A hidden gem! The place is spacious and super clean! They have seating inside so you can dine in or take it to go! The food is delicious! It’s so well served and the owners are so kind and sweet! Again the portion sizes are worth it! Food is fresh and the quality is amazing! I recommend 10/10, if you’re in the area I would give it a chance! The plaza is also very spacious so parking is no problem! They also have a lot of snacks and drinks! We come mostly for the poke but the teas are equally as yummy!“

“This is my favorite poke place that I’ve been going to for a while! The food is always fresh and I really like that I can get my favorite fish and toppings, my vegan sister has tofu options, and my 6 year old can get macrons or ice cream. Sometimes I switch it up and get the yubu and miso soup, which are both awesome. The staff is always nice and friendly, which is a great bonus.“

“This is some of the best sushi that I’ve ever had, and that’s saying a lot, because I spent many years living in Japan. The focus is on quality. It’s not cheap, nor should it be. You are paying for high-grade, quality, and freshness that is hard to find, especially in this area. I tested them out with the few items that you see pictured here and I’m definitely going to use them for an upcoming dinner party. I really like having an option like this available in Diamond Bar. Got a 2 protein poke bowl with 2 scoops of salmon. I asked for half rice and half salad, but wow there's a LOT of rice. My brother didn't mind since he likes rice, but I was a bit peeved. (EDIT: Oh, also the poke bowl is drowned in sauce. My brother loves eel sauce so he was glad, but just letting other customers know!)

The staff behind the counter was nice and was patient with me while I was asking my brother for the toppings and sauces that he wanted in his poke bowl. Sorry I took so long, at least there was no one in the store!

“I live about an hour and a half away from this location . I was on a road trip and stopped in just to see if they had a restroom and ended up getting food. The girl (I think her name was Krysta ? I'm sorry I wish I could remember)working the night shift on Saturday 10/25/25 was so kind and so helpful . I had never had a poki bowl before and she helped me pick out my food choices with a colossal amount of patience . It was so delicious and I have been craving it ever since I got home. If I'm ever in the area again I will definitely be coming in to place another order ♥️“

The staff was incredibly patient and took the time to walk us through the menu, helping us navigate the variety of proteins and sides for our poke bowls. Every bite was a delight, from start to finish. I can't recommend it enough—it's delicious, healthy, and totally satisfying!“

“I come here often since it's near my work. I really wanted to post this review so I can show everyone how great my bowl looked. I got a small bowl but the worker packed it so well. Chef's kiss! The service here is fast. Even if they are working on online orders, they make sure to tend to the customers in person first. Everyone is sweet too and they give you extra sauce in the side if you ask.

Very good portions at Mr. Poke. I got 3 scoops of salmon for my half brown rice, half salad poke bowl, with all toppings, and all sauces. It was actually a lot of food and I could only finish half. I didn't want to leave it for the next day, so my mom ate the other half. I guess since I got it via Doordash, I did not get the miso soup.

“If you’re looking for freshly cooked food, stop here. This place is a little shop hidden in a shopping center. It wasn’t crowded on a Saturday afternoon about noon when I entered. The gentleman immediately asked if I wanted to order while he put together another order. As I reviewed the menu, I ordered chicken bowl and some soup. The food took a little bit of time to get but I was okay knowing that my food was cooked to order. The gentleman did mention that I could call it in before picking up. The price was about $14 to $16 per item and we got it to go. The food was extremely hot so be careful handling. The only thing I would look to change would ask for the teriyaki sauce be separated as the rice soaked up the sauce leaving my chicken a bit dry…. but still tasty. They even give you little candies and I also received a punch card for future orders which was fun and will be returning.“

“I have recently grown to really like poke and I've been testing out places around the Fullerton-Placentia area. PokeCo and Pokeworks are both really good, but they are decently pricey. This place offers essentially the same options but at 3-4 dollars less, which is a lot for a simple lunch food! The Poke I got was tasty with sizable portions. The young lady that served me (I wish I would've asked for her name, but she had a few tattoos, maybe latina, with honey blonde hair and spoke in a sweet soft voice) was super helpful about picking my options. I've been wanting to come here for awhile because I love poke and supporting small businesses, and I can astutely say I'll come back here over other options. More people should come here, it deserves the love!“

“Best poke place in the area! Service is quick, staff is always friendly, the food is good and prices are reasonable.

Along with the flavor, another one of my favorite things about this place is they are not skimpy. I usually get a large and can spread it out over two days because it is so filling. The fish scoops are packed and they hook it up with the toppings and sauces.“
