“Stopped at this place cause we were looking for Bento boxes. lol. I didn't read the menu prior to stopping. We contemplated leaving cause we weren't sure about the items on the menu. I am happy to report we enjoyed our meal.

Here's what we ordered:

1. Wakame
2. Taco Sake
3. Katsu Don

The taco sake was yummy. The sauce on the taco gave poke vibes but wrapped up in crunchy seaweed that stayed together nicely after each bite. The katsu loss a little of the signature crunch after being covered by all the yummies in the bowl but overall good. Maybe change the plating to layer the chicken on top so it doesn't turn soggy.

“(2/7/21) Went in today and was not disappointed! Ordered seafood pad see ew, beef broccoli, and chicken fried rice; all three were freshly made, the beef was tender, broccoli wasn’t soggy, but super fresh! The rice was moist and soft just like I was craving it; and the gravy was exactly what I was hoping for. The only thing I would do differently would be asking for extra shrimp, my kids ate them and only left me one 🤣 The Thai tea was so good, I ordered a second one for later 👌 I’ll definitely be going back to try other things off their menu 👌“

“Found a new local favorite pho place! This place is tucked away in a plaza but totally worth the find.

The pho broth is on point, but they have a secret sauce that is mind slowly delicious!

“We ordered 12 pieces of boneless chicken, half soy-glazed and crunchy. The chicken wasn’t dry and tasted good. Also, we ordered their chicken fried rice with soy glazed; the rice was flavorful, and my toddler ate a lot.

They have everything to go, but you can still dine in, they provide plastic utensils and paper plates if you happen to sit there. They have small wipes too. The restaurant was clean. The plaza has many parking spaces available.“

“This was an impromptu stop. My friend and I were doing some trinket box treasure hunting on March 6th and got very peckish around 3:00 p.m.

We were by rice theory and my friend had said that he had tried it a long time ago somewhere else and was wondering if this was the same place. So we stopped in.

When we got there we were greeted by the individual behind the cash register and she asked us if we had any questions. We asked what were some of the more popular items chosen and she gave us a rundown of what people typically get. We did enjoy her because she was playful about buying basically a handful of items to give everything a little bit of taste.

We decided to have the RT roll, spicy tuna salad inari, and the tuna egg salad.

While we waited we checked out the rest of the store which was super cute. As you could tell with some of my pictures they had some really cool items for purchase near the cash register that were connected to chinese/lunar New Year. And there was all these little designs throughout the shop that were just so playful and fun. The space itself was not very large but definitely comfortable. There was music playing in the background and it was just a nice space to casually be in and enjoy a nice moment with friends.

The items we got were definitely delicious great flavors, not overly spicier creamy, and the vegetables added into them were definitely fresh because they had a nice crunch to them. I want to definitely go back and try the rest of the food there because again what we had as a snack was definitely yummy yummy yummy“

“The staff were so attentive and helpful to answer any questions. Tables were cleaned efficiently for other guests to dine right after the previous ones.
We had to try the Lemon ricotta pancakes for dessert, which was so good too!

“Ive been coming here since the owners had it as a Quickly, I miss the huge cup sizes they had lol. I dont go as often since I moved away, but whenever im in the area i stop in. Really lovely place to read, study or chill with friends (the beware its a guarantee you'll buy more snacks cause their food is always so yummy). All the staff are great, and they usually play music. I love when its kpop or jpop, but sometimes theres lofi, or cdrama ost playing too. Also I often get delivery from them (despite the far away fee) because this is one of the few places that dont add extra ice to their delivery teas, and their food always tastes just as good as when I walk in. I do wish they had more unsweet options for their teas, but some of their teas do go as low as 50% sweetness. I just hope they bring back a rose tea option, it was my favorite tea when I first started coming here.“

“Vietnamese sandwich is really tasty, inexpensive, and HUGE. I meant it was $8.00. I usually call it in, and it's always ready to pick up. These owners work very hard to feed us on the Sacramento area, and I chose to support them because without them, I would be spending 2x as much somewhere else.“

“My first time here. I had the gumbo, which was very good. Had such good flavor. I had the house crab and garlic noodles. I was trying something new and different from how I normally eat crab. It wasn't bad, just not my preference. I'd definitely go back to try more.“

“So glad we have this place in Sac! It’s been one we’ve ordered from many times and the food is always reliably good. The sauces are absolutely delicious with the poached chicken. We always order chicken and rice, both poached and fried. One order with no skin and one with skin on, medium spicy. The garlic rice is also so good and goes perfectly with the chicken. We recently started ordering pork from there too, both on skewers and grilled pork. Both so flavorful and delicious with sticky rice. I highly recommend this place and will continue to order from here.

They have a website you can order from. Best to support them that way vs through the food apps. One important thing to note is that they operate a virtual restaurant so you go there to pick up the food and call them to bring it out to your car. I guess delivery through the food apps is convenient though but one constructive criticism I have is that I’ve had my order canceled through the app by the restaurant only to have to reorder. It’s happened twice so it’s not a one off and is something they should really look into to prevent it from happening.“

The snacks are also very good. The crispy oyster omelet was fresh with a natural sweetness, and the crispy fried chicken had a light spicy, aromatic flavor.

The kumquat drink is a must-try, and the self-serve dipping sauce bar is delicious with many choices.

“Sonora location. Tried when first opened and few weeks ago. It was clean (new) and great service. Re-visited yesterday and totally the opposite! Counter was dirty, all food was low. It was 4 o’clock and not busy. The cook, other gentleman and waitress was very unprofessional and unsanitary! The cook, yes while wearing gloves, continued to touch dirty services and our food. At one point he had his cell phone in his hand looking at it while cooking our food. Phone back in dirty pocket, touching his hair then back to cooking our food! “I have heard wonderful things so I decided to try this local spot. To start, I was pleasantly welcomed by the cashier with politeness and a smile. The owners and the cashier are very nice and welcoming people. Don't be foolish and let the dated outside fool you, this spot is a lovable local gem!

The server/cashier came to check on me multiple times, which truly emphasized their care for their customers. The food came relatively quick for I only had to wait about 5-ish minutes.

I loved the chicken teriyaki bowl that I ordered, which came with tsukemono, a simple and deliciously refreshing cabbage topping. The food was straight forward, yet delicious and full of flavor, the chicken was quite tender as well. The way they prepared the chicken in thin-julienne-like cuts was unique and allowed the teriyaki sauce to cover more surface are, truly fusing the grilled umami flavor of the neatly cooked chicken with the dark and flavorful teriyaki sauce.

Using my best judgement, the prices of the food is about the same you would find anywhere else. For the plates/ bowls they offer 3 different sizes. Some other menu items they feature are burgers, fish fry, beef, and chicken katsu.

Additionally the restroom that is out back was clean and ready to use(kindly ask to use the restroom and you'll be given a key). The inside of the restaurant was clean without a speck of food or liquid in site. The tables, ground, and even on top of the trash cans were as clean as a brand new car.

Overall, I will absolutely be returning to this local gem and am looking forward to trying their other menu items. If you find yourself nearby and looking for a bite, consider giving this Korean-family-owned restaurant some love! 🙌🏼🍚🍗“

“I’ve been coming here ever since I’ve moved into the area about 6 years ago. Always excellent service and great food though today was outstanding! I ordered a large wonton soup with one container having only broth. I mentioned I was sick and I loved the broth. When I got home after picking up my food I found a complete order with a separate container with only broth. Good caring people here at T&Z“
