I often end up here when my lunch is lacking. My go-to items are either a baked pork bao plus a sesame ball or a single hargow. A nice short walk after helps the afternoon along.
Try the Orange chicken.
Total hole in the wall dim sum spot downtown that's always worth stopping in for some great food. Youu gotta get in early and with cash- they won't take a card and run out of nearly everything by late linch. The pork bao and sesame balls are amazing. Pretty solid menu ranging from dim sum to entres and side dishes- but again, their dim sum menu is what I'd recommend. The egg rolls are greasy, but if crispy greasy egg rolls are your thing- can't think of any place I've had better.

Although there is only one table, the location is close to Southside Park, which has picnic tables and easy parking—making it a great spot for a picnic lunch. The owners keep the place simple, but the food is fresh, well-seasoned, and loved by many. The combination plate #8, rice cake, and steamed Char Siu Bow are all freshly made and highly recommended. This hidden gem provides a quick, flavorful family-style meal in Sacramento.
