Senor Burrito

My dad has been going to this man's cart for years and it never misses. He doesn't have the most extensive menu, but there's something about simple good food that feels familiar and brings comfort. He's talked to my dad a lot and his wife helps him prep the food in the morning and he hangs out for the lunch rush. $5 isn't a bad deal for a delicious burrito with handmade tortillas and supporting a very small business. Simple, pre-made burritos to-go. This food cart operates at the corner of 7th and I Streets. He opens around 11am and stays until he's sold out. Get there before noon if to increase the chances you'll get what you want. All burritos are $5. Includes chips and salsa. He may not be there on a particular day if it's windy or raining. Otherwise, this is my go-to spot.

The burritos are excellent! This guy has his tiny burrito stand set up on 7th and I St. He makes burritos of several kinds and wraps them up in waxed paper and tinfoil. When you buy them, he makes a tidy bundle of burrito, tortilla chips, salsa, and sauce into a double layer of paper bag to keep the food warm.
