The shrimp fried rice is fresh and served quickly, while the chow mein has a generous amount of crunchy vegetables and a flavorful sauce. The salt and pepper chicken is fried to perfection, resembling tempura. Mapo tofu has rich sauce and tons of flavor, but some dishes can be a bit oily and salty. The chicken wings with chili peppers are a highlight, being numbing, garlicky, and spicy. However, the assortment of skewers can be dry and overseasoned. The orange chicken is compared to the one from Costco's frozen aisle.
Service can be improved, as there have been instances of delayed seating and unfriendliness, particularly towards non-Mandarin speakers. Despite this, the restaurant is still regarded as one of the better Szechuan restaurants in town, with potential for minor improvements.
For take-out orders, the food is authentic and served in good-sized portions. Service during pick-up is adequate.
