“The food is outrageously good. It’s not your everyday americanized Mexican stuff. I had an asada burrito they adjusted for my allergies without any problems. It was about 12 bucks, but huge. My friend had some tacos. He was a little surprised by the radishes, I had to explain that this was actual real Mexican food. He found them very satisfying. It’s a little place. So look out for it. I truly want to give them my highest recommendations.

Vegetarian options: They do have mushroom as a filling instead of meat.“

Parking space is limited (like 3) so it may be better to park on the side streets and walk to the taco stand. Their Al Pastor is well worth the wait, the horchata, toppings, and sauces are also fantastic. I usually come around 6:30pm since the vendor tends to set up a bit later than usual. Cash only!“

“Tacos Jessica is delicious! I had a regular carne asada burrito and it was so good. The reviews, the photos, and the red sauce caught my attention to bring me there. They are right on! The red sauce is very good. The carne asada has amazing seasoning and also has little to no fat. I wish they were closer to Citrus Heights so I could go there more often.“

“Toby’s Tacos are some of the best I’ve ever had! What makes them special is that Toby himself prepares them fresh. The tacos come on corn tortillas with your choice of meat and you can ask for onions and/or peppers to be included. All the classic sides such as onion, cilantro, radish, and salsa are available on the table, so you can build to your heart’s content. I highly recommend trying the al pastor, which includes pineapple for a delicious sweet contrast. The seasoning on all the meats is incredibly flavorful, making each bite a tasty bite. “Randomly stopped here while out on some errands and wanted some lunch. Got 4 Pastor tacos for $11. The meat was perfectly tender and marinated, the tortillas are good and the salsas are great too. Although there are some things I could see people not liking about this place and that is the salsa not being self serve. It doesn’t come in a container, it’s served on the taco. For me it’s the perfect amount of salsa but for people who like to choose how much salsa they get it could be off putting. The little trailer is only ran by the sole owner so have patience when ordering. Will be coming back soon. 4.8/5.

“Food is Delicious, very well made. The establishment inside is very well clean and neat. It was very difficult to find parking, since there is only 4 parking spots, 1 being for accessibility and another one is being taken up by an outside table, Very limited parking. It is also next door to a recycling place so there’s tons of people in the area unloading cans and plastic bottles. I recommend the business but parking is challenging. Overall good place for good food.“

“We ordered to sample almost all tacos!… I mean we are at a taco bar for gods sake lol… I was surprised that not many people ordered all the tacos all at once! And I was really sad not to see a “sampler” in the menu. The tacos, once ordered together, they do standout! … we suggested to the staff that they do a “sampler” option of 12 tacos or more (and maybe then include the chips and salsa which are not free, but they’re good chips and salsa!) … trying out our version of the sampler was great and I recommend it so that you pick for yourself which ones are your favs!!! I loved the pork belly and the short rib! … Oh and we shared each taco between two of us… so go with someone you don’t mind passing along and sharing the taco with… might not be a good idea for a first date LOL. Their service is great, as usual. I've never had a complaint; the one time a mistake was made (someone else took my order by accident), they were quick to help me out and remake my order.

“My favorite taco stand! Well prepared and tasty. I’m fond of the tacos de cabeza, and Al pastor with optional bits of pineapple. $2 tacos with no skimping on the meat. They are paying attention sanitation-wise and clean up the grounds before the leave… no garbage left behind. It’s nice to be able to watch them as they prepare the food.
