Beautiful location. Fantastic experience. Amazing wine and really fair prices. Might be the best value in the Valley.
Had the 2017 and 2019 Merlots and was blown away by both wines. Each blossomed in the glass after about 45 minutes into a rich, ripe plummy palate with luscious cassis, blackberry, and a hint of oak notes, massaged by smooth tannins and the right amount of acidity on the finish. Can't wait to try the 2018 and 2021! Reminds me of my first taste of the classic 2001 bottling that I tasted back in 2005 with Jim and Barbera. The family tradition is kept brilliantly alive!
What a wonderful experience! It was such a pleasure to speak with Sheldon and Laura about the winery. So informative and interesting. We're looking forward to our next visit and can't wait to share our Merlot vertical tasting with our wine club!
