Food is great. Service is fast for take away
This is the only Chinese food I eat in San Rafael. Sometimes, I crave it. Their shrimp fried rice, and chicken chow mein is the best I've tasted since I was a kid. That real authentic taste. Plus, I don't have to worry about peas and carrots in my fried rice (that's a no-no). Their rice is full of flavor. You know it when you see it because it's not white with stuff mixed in. I absolutely love this place. It's in the next city over but it's worth it...
I got takeout and it was awesome! I got mu shu pork, deep fried orange chicken and deep fried general Tao and house special chow mein and I couldn’t be happier!
China Villa is a restaurant that has recently experienced some inconsistencies in their cooking. However, the staff's kindness and dedication to customer satisfaction have not wavered. Orders are fulfilled promptly, and customers have been impressed with the flavors and quality of dishes such as chicken chow fun, walnut shrimp, beef with broccoli, and veggie fried rice. Many customers enjoy their shrimp fried rice and chicken chow mein, describing them as the best they’ve tasted since childhood, with authentic flavor and no peas and carrots. The restaurant is known for its flavorful rice that is not white with mixed-in ingredients. Despite some missteps in the kitchen, China Villa remains a reliable option for tasty takeout and a welcoming customer experience. Customers appreciate the quiet atmosphere and friendly service, often sharing positive moments like celebrating birthdays with the owners. The menu offers a variety of dishes including Wonton Soup, Chicken with Black Bean sauce, Crispy Pork Chop, Fried Shrimp, mu shu pork, deep fried orange chicken, and deep fried general Tao, all of which have received praise for their delicious taste.
