“Went for our anniversary dinner and was very pleased. We were seated at a comfortable booth near the bar and had great service by Erick M. I ordered a Manhattan and my wife had an Old Fashioned. Both were excellent. The salmon was cooked to perfection and the Prime Rib Sandwich was terrific. We both enjoyed sharing the Izzy's potatoes. Lots of parking was available.“

“First time at San Mateo Prime; Very comfortable setting; What you'd expect, nice tables, tablecloths; Nice, well stocked bar;Prime rib, Avenue cut was very tasty;Only distraction was a large party with one very loud individual; Otherwise, great place for a meal; I understand there is also an upstairs dining area; Staff very attentive;I would definitely make a reservation when you go; Lots of foot traffic in downtown area; So I wouldn't take a chance, reserved a table in advance; They can seat large parties too!“

“I ate there last week for the first time in several years. The menu is large and many different styles of food. I had the Prime Rib and it was EXCELLENT. There was 2 others in my party and they were equally impressed. Another benefit is that there are no parking problems. I will definitely eat there again.“

He saw I was struggling to cut my food because I had a baby in my hands and cut it for me. Seriously 10/10 prime rib, kindness, generosity, everything!! “Wonderful service, DELICIOUS food and the best views! I was so glad my company put me in the area. I had the exotic cocktail (which was one of the best drinks I’ve had in a while), The calamari which they also put fried artichoke in it *chefs kiss* and those sauces!!! My goodness the SAUCES separate or together my taste buds were very happy. Last but never least the lobster bisque…. I about picked up the bowl and licked it clean…. Perfectly seasoned, buttery, creamy, mmm mmm mmm!! I can’t wait to come back…after your meal you can walk it off with the 360 views of just beautiful scenery“
