Hands down the best burger in San Clemente. I've eaten here twice and both times I was impressed by the food, service and speed at which the food came out. Every element of the burger is well done from the toasted brioche bun, to the house sauce, aged cheddar and burger patty. Plus gotta love the lunch special comes with a beer included! Definitely a gem!
My husband and I head to San Clemente about once or twice a year for quick getaways. This weekend was our first time visiting The Local. We enjoyed it so much that we went there both days and I can guarantee that we'll now be going back every time we visit SC. During our visits we had The Local burger, fries, the taco salad with chicken, a Cali Creamin', Cali Creamin' Blood Orange, and their award winning Peach Destiny. Nothing really special. The drinks were not good quality, cheap alcohol gave me a headache. They closed 20 mins after we ordered drinks with no warning. The staff was not very friendly and seemed rushed to get out. The patio area is nice. We didn't try the food so it might have been better. Maybe it was an off night.
