Bang Bang - San Diego Reviews
Nice place but I want my Ryan gosling bathroom back
Weird vibe, servers didn't want us to take advantage of happy hour. Food and drinks were good.
What a great experience!!!! I would like to thank the dual Jesse team, especially our server Jesse, with the ponytail. But really, every staff member was very welcoming and attentive till the moment we left. My wife and I chose Bang Bang to celebrate our anniversary, and we had a fun time and enjoyed some very good sushi. They also came thru acknowledging our anniversary. (As I left on the OpenTable reservation notes) and personally congratulating my wife as we were leaving. Thanks...read full review
Bang Bang offers a lively atmosphere with great music and friendly service. The food is a mixed bag, with some dishes receiving criticism, such as overpriced and underseasoned beef fried rice. However, the wings and drinks are praised, and the ambiance is often described as wonderful. The vibe is energetic, making it suitable for those looking for a fun experience. Many customers find the food above average, with favorites like the Yamaguchi roll, and note that the place is more enjoyable for drinks and appetizers rather than full dinners. The service remains casual, attentive, and welcoming, with staff members often acknowledged for their friendliness. The lively atmosphere, especially when a DJ is present, is a highlight, and the place is popular for celebrations like birthdays and anniversaries. The strict rule requiring a $500 minimum for large parties is mentioned as a wild and expensive aspect of the experience. Overall, Bang Bang continues to be a fun spot for good drinks, music, and casual dining.
