Jesse was the best part of Bang Bang but so were the puffs and the karate kick roll. But actually, Jesse was so knowledgeable, attentive, and personable. 100/10 would recommend and visit again and again.
I was in bang bang but not in the restaurant area, but in the night club, I went to see one of my favorite DJs the shapeshifter and I was very comfortable and calm, it really is a nice, spacious space and I was fortunate to be able to be very close to the dj, there weren't too many people, so I liked it. Someone tripped me because I was drunk and a security person immediately came over to ask if everything was okay, that made me even calmer.

Really cool place....worth the effort to climb the stairs to get into the place. Fresh sushi...new types of rolls and great service....little pricey...but the normal for downtown San Diego.
