The Bon Cha Reviews
Came here for tea. Man kept walking in and out of the cafe with a cigar. Unpleasant smell. Didn’t seen like the worker had a problem with it Eventually he went outside.
The staff was really nice and patient when I was sorting my money. My drink was done very fast, and was really good. I got matcha with boba, and the matcha was perfectly sweet and the boba didn't have a weird texture unlike all of the other places I've been to. I would highly recommend this place for a nice drink.
Today was my day of having their famous one of a kind Macha strawberry drink. It’s so so good cause strawberry sauce is in house made. Five ⭐✨

The Bon Cha is a cozy, family-owned restaurant located in downtown San Diego that offers a variety of drinks, including boba, lattes, and milk teas. The atmosphere features a rustic aesthetic, creating a warm and inviting environment. The staff is known for their kind, patient, and friendly service, making customers feel welcome, especially newcomers. Many reviews highlight the quality of the drinks, with particular praise for the milk tea, which is often described as great, not too sweet, and well-balanced. The Hokkaido milk tea with boba was compared to a cookie, and the basic milk tea received positive remarks, while a lavender matcha was described as amazingly made. Customers also enjoy the diverse options like pistachio cookies and chai latte, which satisfy different tastes. The restaurant is open late, making it a popular spot for night owls and workers in the area. Some minor issues noted include boba clumping together and a door being left open, but these do not detract from the overall positive experience. Overall, The Bon Cha is appreciated for its hardworking family owners, good service, and delicious drinks, making it a favorite spot for many in San Diego.
