We frequented Gourmet India for there lunch special as it was close to both home and work.Not the best Indian in the area definitely a lot better choices when in search for Indian food in San Diego, just a good location if you're in the downtown area !

Came on a Sunday for Buffett but they don't have it on the weekends. However, the food was still very good. I had the lamb biriyani was good. The samosas were nice and hot. The mango juice is delicious! I kept ordering more. The naan was warm and moist not dry. Also had lamb shank was grilled with onions and peppers. Just picked up an order of vegetable korma & mozzarella cheese naan. I had also ordered garlic naan which unfortunately was not in my Togo bag :( .. the flavor of the food is definitely tasty and they do not shy away from a lot of sauce in the dish.. however, I was disappointed with the lack of vegetables in my entree.
