I have been coming to the O.B. pier Cafe ever since I arrived in San Diego over 40 years ago, and not much has changed. The owners and the staff that run this rustic Cafe are wonderful and accommodating people. The food is consistently good and the prices - for this day and age - are reasonable. Don't expect tablecloths and silverware. Far from it. My last visit, 1975, though living here..was waiting for city 2 to allow customers..excellent summer days reward.. history lessons on the walls, basic menu with multitude of choices..great waiter n chef staffing..prompt service..affordable..enough 2 take a box home..Local folks, let's turn out for this outstanding family landmark

A not so hidden gem in OB, every time I need a little break, I find myself coming here for a relaxing breakfast at the pier. The food is hearty and comforting, the service has been great every time, the views and ambiance are the winner here. Chill, local vibe, one of my favorite places in SD
