Amazing food and service! Best ceviche I’ve ever had. Service is excellent and fun. Cesar the bartender did an outstanding job.
Great happy hour spot — had a glass of the house wine, three tacos and chocolate dessert with ice cream. Atmosphere and service were both really nice.
I'd asked for no raw onion (upsets my stomach), and one taco came out with onion mixed in. A passing server offered to let me try it anyway, which was a bit odd, but I asked for a replacement instead — they swapped it out and let me keep the onion one too, which my friend happily ate. Origen is a restaurant with an amazing interior design and a great, lively atmosphere. It is a favorite date night spot and provides a superb dining experience. The food is really good, with a homemade feeling and a contemporary twist. Dishes described as must-haves or superb include the short rib mole quesadillas, the tuna flautitas, the aguachile verde, and the blue crab tostada. The steak tartar and fish of the day are also excellent. The small dishes are best for sharing. The service is top notch, friendly, attentive, and accommodating, making the night fun. The drinks, like the Margarita and Paloma, are unmatched. It is considered a new staple restaurant and a place to return to very soon.
