Big pieces of fish. Big fries. Fresh coleslaw. All good. Only thing that was less than great was the tarter sauce.Came in on a Friday night, and the place was packed. Got my food in 20 minutes, exactly what they said it would be. Live music was a nice touch.If it wasn't in Sabre Springs and the patrons and staff weren't as diverse, you might actually believe you were somewhere in the UK
It always annoys me when I go to English or Irish pubs that bedeck themselves in the trappings of the Old World, and then have nothing but pizza, wings, and burgers on the menu. This establishment is the genuine article which offers well crafted pub standards of the Old World. My personal favorites are the fish and chips, black pudding, and steak and kidney pie.
