Haven't been to Sammy's for quite a while but we had a great dinner tonight. Started off with the chicken taquitos off of the Happy Hour menu (half price!). They were absolutely delicious and the salsa they serve with them was amazing! A really nice kick and great flavor. We also split a Caesar Salad and a Garlic Shrimp pizza. Service was excellent too. An overall great experience. Will definitely return!
A hidden gem! This is one of my favorite places to come. The food and service is always on point. Abraham is very attentive and really took our experience to the next level. Definitely stop by next time you're in Mission Valley!

I want to like this place but even when there are few customers the service is slow. I just had the fish tacos today and they were not good. Not a filet, but chopped up pieces of fish. I will stick with salad or pizza from now on.
