A regular customer noted a disappointing experience with the new Matcha Latte on January 3, 2025. After ordering a Venti Matcha Latte with 10 extra scoops, the extra charge was $6, and the matcha flavor was nonexistent—the latte tasted like warm milk. This former daily Matcha Latte customer will no longer purchase Matcha at Starbucks. Despite this, the location is considered a speedy and go-to spot by many.
