The food was delicious, but a little pricey for the tiny amount you got. Waitstaff was great, and the ambience was nice.
CLOSED forever. All liquor has been moved to Urge a few doors down. The website is still active. Don’t even try.
Inside of the bar is smelling not so good. Outside, on the terrace was ok to stay. Many local beers, I tried the german hazy style Hefeweizen, nothing wow but still ok. The food was nothing more than average.
The Barrel Room in Rancho Bernardo offers an eclectic American cuisine menu, complemented by a fabulous selection of top-shelf wines and an excellent craft beer selection. While the service can be slow at times due to staffing shortages, the food is consistently excellent, with standout dishes like the Pistachio Crusted Sea Bass, Chicken Parmesan, Jambalaya, and Short Rib Pappardelle. The sandwich menu, including the Brisket Dip, Brothers Pastrami Sandwich, and creative burgers, is also a highlight. The restaurant's ambiance, described as warm and family-friendly, is further enhanced by the attentive service of the hosts, servers, and chefs, who strive to exceed customer expectations and create a memorable dining experience.
