The food was excellent but the service was slow at times. The reason for this appeared to be because they were very short-staffed and for that reason gave a 4 star for service. The few staff we saw or helped us were hustling all evening. The menu has been pared down significantly, even when being able to order off the Urge menu as well. Hopefully TBR menu will have some additions soon,!
One visit to the Barrel Room in Rancho Bernardo and you will be hooked forever on their incredible menu of eclectic American cuisine, along with a fabulous selection of “Top Shelf” wine and a plethora excellent craft beer. Inside of the bar is smelling not so good. Outside, on the terrace was ok to stay. Many local beers, I tried the german hazy style Hefeweizen, nothing wow but still ok. The food was nothing more than average.
