The Handmade Chef in San Diego is an absolute hidden gem. The food is incredible, made with fresh, wholesome ingredients, and the staff is genuinely accommodating. It was the one place we could rely on every single day of our vacation for truly healthy meals that tasted amazing. I just wish they would open up more locations so we could go all the time!
I wish I could take this place home with me. The food, the vibe, the people. Wonderful.
First off, when you walk in, T (employee) is an absolute delight to deal with. He gives great advice on what to get, for example, when you’re picking a smoothie and thinking of what types of liquid or proteins to add. Second, their food is fantastic.
