This has long been an oasis in the Civic Center area, a simple restaurant with honest vegetarian cuisine, good recipes, well-presented. Don't expect anything fancy, but the food is good.
On a short trip to San Fran we ate here 3 times and were never disappointed. We were staying nearby on Market St., on the hunt for vegan food and this was a short walk away. The food is delicious, flavorsome and filling. Reasonably priced for San Fran. Very relaxed service and a nice ambiance. You must try the gingerbread pancakes!

I was at city hall for some business and decided to stop at this place I found on Google after searching "vegan food near me." The prices online are inaccurate, so no, the tacos and wraps are not $1! Lol! I walk in and am transported from the rainy, wet, windy, gritty San Francisco Tenderloin area into a tropical relaxing paradise.
