Such a homey feel to this little coffee shop. Felt like family and the food/coffee was terrific. Felt like I found a gem.
I was visiting SF from out of town and I stopped here for a break near Union Square. Honestly it ended up being one of my favorite memories of the whole trip.
First, about the cafe itself:
1. The ambience is really cute and comfortable. Italian vibe. I know there’s a lot of cafes nearby that are so packed that you can barely think, but this one felt calm and you can actually sit and relax. I could see myself doing homework here for hours if I lived nearby.

I discovered this place by chance during my first visit to San Francisco; now, months later, I am here for the second time. The food is delicious, and it has a wonderful atmosphere.

Bella Cafe is a fantastic Italian cafe in San Francisco with a great ambiance. It offers full menus of food, desserts, and hot and cold drinks. The pizzas are delicious, and the pastas use original northern Italy recipes. Specific favorites include the best calzone, the La Traviata sandwich, and the Italiano Panini.
