The Cantonese fare here is really top notch. It's a hidden gem that few know about and I hope they don't go out of business bc it is never crowded. It's tucked away in a neighborhood across the street from what used to be Cala Foods, now Trader Joe's. The prices are really decent too. I hope more people would patron them so stay in business! My absolute favorite Chinese food in the city, used to go all the time when I lived around the corner. Szechuan chow mein is amazing. Portions are big (always a good amount of leftovers for lunch), prices are good, service is friendly, and the vibe is relaxed. Can't recommend this place enough, I try to stop by every time I visit SF.

The food is great, and cheap if you order from the lunch special counter. BUT the place is filthy. The tables are all sticky with old food grime. The menus are gross to touch. Dried food on the underside of your plate. I'm not that picky generally, but this place left me not wanting to touch anything.If it wasn't for that, this place would've received 4.5 to 5 from me.
